Nice hotel and good location, but unfortunately not the best experience.
Pros:

Very convenient location when driving from Canada to Florida and back. Good price compared to other hotels in the area.

Cons:

Our TV remote would not work. We were unable to use the Tv. We called down to the front desk and he said he was the only one working and it would take a couple of hours to bring a new one. He never showed up. So we had no tv to watch during our stay.

Room: not clean [caked up dirt and dust , bug eggs in all the corners from ceiling to floor ( I wish I was joking. ) , stains on beds and pillows, and bathroom was nasty!

No parking after a certain time because of being too full no safe accommodations

Staff was clueless about everything they need more help and training

I explicitly searched for a pet friendly hotel and was directed to La Quinta in Mooresville. I booked it through booking.com and got a confirmation number. When I arrived I was informed that my service dog is NOT allowed and booking.com would issue a refund. Booking.com explained a refund would only be issued if the hotel manager approved the refund. And he did not!!!! I stayed across the road a a Carolina Inn which accepted pets. So I got robbed by the hotel manager at La Quinta!!!! Avoid this place with its unscrupulous manager!!! This is a perfect example of bait and switch advertising!! Stay away!!!!
Find a different hotel!!! These people are thieves!!!

Pros:

The pillows

Cons:

I didn't like my greeting at the front desk, guy it wasn't pleasant to say the least. I asked for towels from the night desk clerk and I felt like it was a bother since he was busy playing on his phone. The following day I asked for a do not disturb sign to hang on my door, never received it. Your staff has to be aware that the customers are here and they are the ones that keep your doors open. I will NOT be back.
