Second visit ... didn't disappoint!
Pros:

Clean and comfortable room. Good choice on hospitality tray Nice touch having a radio. Large TV. Fridge. Good to have a seating area near the large window. Excellent shower in the large bathroom.
Restaurant food excellent.

Cons:

Would have been nice at breakfast to have been given the choice of porridge. Also, at breakfast, although there was fresh fruit available, it would have been nice to have some fresh fruit salad and some plain greek yogurt.

A lovely comfortable and friendly place to stay.
Pros:

A great vegetarian breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable. Nice to have a small fridge in the room. And good to have a coffee machine too! .

Cons:

Lovely to have a coffee machine but would have been helpful to have the choice of pods explained.

Pros:

This is a lovely, old village pub which has been fully yet sympathetically modernised.
It is in a quiet location but with easy access to the South Lakes. All staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. We ate two eveni ng meals and found the food to be of exceptional quality and delicious. The only reservation we had was that the dining area is rather cramped but that is due to the nature of the building. We would definitely recommend the New Inn to anyone looking for a stop over or a short stay.

Warm welcome & pleasant staff in dining room. Food & beer excellent. Both rooms booked were well furnished with comfortable beds & good quality bedding.

Cons:

Only one very small issue...nowhere to conveniently put down personal wash bag / toothbrush etc in the bathroom

Very good find for our stops overnight up and down to Scotland from the South.
Pros:

Nice and close to the motorway for an overnight stop. Our room was spacious and clean, bedding super comfortable. The bar was busy and atmospheric, food was ok.

Cons:

Entrance by back door takes you in via the kitchen which is a little off putting.

Pros:

On arrival the new inn is in a lovely little village we stayed for one night on our way back home from North Wales. We had a lovely welcoming the dog friendly room was soo comfy! Like soo comfy!! The food was absolutely amazing the atmosphere in the pub was so friendly 👌 there was a local singer on and she was Brilliant we really enjoyed it. Breakfast was 5 star all the staff are so friendly and helpful. Before we set off home the owner let us take what we wanted from his orchid of lovely apples, piars and berries. What a cracking place.

Perfect for a stay in one of our favourite areas of the country
Pros:

The room was decorated in a retro style which was very pleasant and the bathroom is very modern and spacious
The evening meals were superb.. not the usual same old pub grub

Cons:

There needs to be some shelving or a chair in the bathroom
The breakfasts were very basic but adequate after such excellent evening meals
Staff were friendly and helpful
