Comfortable, yet refined, stay!
Pros:

The staff is so friendly and attentive. The building is beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable. The food is amazing! The bar food was delicious and the drinks were perfectly balanced. However, the breakfast was very expensive.

Fabulous time at the Garden City Hotel
Pros:

We had a fantastic experience at the Garden City Hotel. Chris Buffa was a pleasure to work with on reserving a space for a family event at the Sunday brunch. Separate from the brunch, we had dinner at the Red Salt Room on Saturday night and stayed over in the hotel into Sunday. Dinner and accommodation was great. The brunch food and service was excellent. Specifically, JC was terrific. He helped us from the moment we walked in and was right on top of everything for the duration. He really made it even more of a pleasant experience and his exceptional professionalism was noted by all. We look forward to visiting GCH again in the future!

Incredible service. Beautiful hotel.
Pros:

Service was outstanding. The bar tenders were very attentive and gave great advice. Very helpful. At check-in we were upgraded and stayed in the penthouse. They had a really nice sitting room where they had food and drinks all day and night. The valet always had our car ready quickly and the door men were always helpful. I highly recommend the Garden City hotel.

THe hotel,staff, service and environment were all on point.
Pros:

Did not have breakfast.......otherwise, everything else was great !!

Cons:

The room that I was given (321), the heating system was unusually noisy........kept me awake most of the night. Other than that, everything else was fine.

Absolutely loved it.
Pros:

Stayed here with my daughter for a concert at UBS Arena. We absolutely loved it. The staff were all phenomenal. From the Valet, the front desk, to the cafe, restaurant, all fantastic. The room was clean and had a warm atmosphere. The LIRR is right across from street. Will definitely stay here again!!

Superb service
Pros:

We stayed at the Hotel for two nights and were impressed by the friendliness and service. Tony at the reception desk deserves special mention as he was extremely helpful and personable. In the restaurant, the two waiters Vincente and Clemente provided cheerful service. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is charming and has an interesting history. It is also only a short walk from shops and cafes. Highly recommended.

A rose in Garden City
Pros:

Beautiful remodel with an updated bathroom and nicely furnished large rooms. The hotel coffee is excellent which is always a good sign. The hotel staff is welcoming and the entire atmosphere was delightful.

Pros:

I celebrated my birthday dinner here and had an amazing experience. The staff was extremely attentive and went above and beyond to make the night special. Everything exceeded my expectations from the service to the overall atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

Excellent service
Pros:

The staff at the Garden City Hotel were excellent! We stayed to allow my son time to recover from hip surgery, and they were empathetic and responsive. The room was large to accommodate recovery. The food was very good with generous portions. Overall wonderful stay. Thank you!
