This is NOW our new stopover on our trip to Idaho.
Pros:

The air, the friendly staff, the grounds, the location... ALL excellent.

Cons:

I can't think of anything we didn't like. The pocket door did not latch/lock from the inside of the bathroom... not a big deal for husband and wife, but for other guests, you should fix it. Bldg. 1, Room 115.

Pros:

Beautiful location near Truckee and not too far from Tahoe. I liked the architecture style and the buildings as well as the modern furnishings and amenities, especially the nice piece of chocolate which they gave for the spa / gym code. Nice tea selection in the rooms.

Cons:

The sauna was a little far and not very warm. But it was nice to have. The front desk woman was a having a bad day but over all, everyone was otherwise pleasant.

Beautiful property, but a bit out of downtown area
Pros:

The rooms were nicely decorated and the little touches like Qtips, etc were appreciated. Fridge in room was nice.

Cons:

The road construction on road in front of hotel made it impossible to get an Uber or Lyft driver to take us to the train station. We wheeled our luggage across the street and past the park before we saw someone we met in town earlier that offered us a ride.

A perfect easy mountain stay in Truckee
Pros:

Everything from check-in to hanging out in the lobby in front of the fire, and room, sauna, gym, Stella’s wonderful! Loved riding bikes to town and by the river!

Lovely, relaxing visit.
Pros:

Beautifully located, beautiful architecture, surroundings. Hot tub/jacuzzi were very relaxing. Wished to try the spa but ran out of time.

Cons:

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed the 2 days we were here.

I think I'll stay in incline village next time instead of truckee
Pros:

Location was pretty convenient
Bed was comfortable

Cons:

No elevators
No common lounge or areas to speak of
The bed sheet was very rough
Some of their white bath towels are starting to look gray and should be retired at the price they're charging.
Noisy road noise.
