stayed at Gravity Haus Truckee for 5 nights in February 2026. This was my second stay at this property, and. I was travelling alone on both visits. During my first visit, I injured my knee while skiing, and although I was able to walk it was painful. I am so grateful to Grayson who helped me check out of my room and load my car. His kindness and assistance weren't expected but will never be forgotten and for this reason, I will always stay at Gravity Haus for any future visits to Truckee. During my most recent visit, the hospitality and level of service once again went above and beyond my expectations. The property is clean, quiet, and centrally located to multiple activities and resorts
Gravity Haus hit the perfect tones for a 2-day stint in Truckee. Several high points -- the main room/lodge is cozy, with five leather chairs around a (gas) fireplace. My wife and I sat there for coffee in the mornings, getting into long lovely conversations with other visitors. In the evenings we'd grab shockingly good cocktails, made by the people who check you in at the front (they just run 20 feet to the back bar), and got into great evening conversations. It made it feel more like we were travelling than just staying in a hotel. The hot tub is smallish (fits 6) but nice, and the sauna was nice and hot. the small gym had good yoga mats. Beds were very comfy with great pillows. Stella had a tasty breakfast but we didn't eat dinner there. It would also be a great place for a week or so. My wife and I agreed we had to look no further the next time we head towards Truckee.
Only small downside is that our room was in the direction of the road and so there was light background noise of cars, but there is no traffic light nearby so it was very much light background noise -- no stopping and starting. If this will bother you ask for a room facing another direction.

Only thing that could be improved would be the lighting in the rooms. Sometimes hard to see in the middle of the room.

Des Frühstück war exklusive und im Restaurant nebenan zwar gut, aber teuer. Leider kein Lift in den ersten Stock. Mit vier schweren Koffern war das etwas mühsam.
Lobby was closed when our flight got in, and no-one answered the phone number. We slept in our car the 1st night of our stay and never got refunded for the night.
