Events staff brilliant !!
Pros:

I can't praise Tej Patel who is part of the events team enough. Although we didn't book our event at The Bradford Hotel Tej has been very polite, helpful and professional all the time. I would like to wish you well for the future.

Meh
Pros:

Thin walls- could hear people shouting from next door
Very soft pillows- found it hard to sleep or get comfortable
And the room got extremely hot even when the fan was on and window was open
Okay If your staying here a night or so
Close to town centre and a 2 min call to Bradford interchange

Hair and beauty awards
Pros:

We attended the hair and beauty awards hear last night. To say the hotel was a disappointment would be a understatement.
Room was shabby, toilets vile and no toilet roll, 4 people serving over 500 people, no Prosecco after 6.30pm, and the food was disgusting, when raising concerns with staff they simply weren’t bothered however admitted that they wouldn’t eat the food we were served.
Avoid this place at all costs! Thank goodness we weren’t staying here as I would hate to see the rooms if what we saw was anything to go by!

The English Hair and Beauty Awards 2020 Venue.
Pros:

We attended an event at the Bradford Hotel and although the event was great and enjoyed by many .... the venue left a lot to be desired. There was only two bar staff on the main bar at which people were queuing for at least half to three quarters of an hour!! The meal, at best, was of poor quality and only half filled the plate. The only saving grace was the desert which was cheesecake and was edible. The room itself was packed to bursting point and the waiting staff just were a shambles. All I can say is thank God we didnt have to stay there overnight. Very poor show Bradford Hotel. Shame.

Don’t bother
Pros:

Booked an accessible room as need a walk in shower to get there to find mould all over the seat in the shower and all round the cubicle. (Fresh mould as went under my mums nail!) stains all over the carpet!
Reported to front desk came back and nothing done and they didn’t seem bothered either.
We ended up in a different room which had a bath and shower.
Not sure why having an accessible room means having the worst room in the hotel.
Only thing good is location to the town

Small rooms
Pros:

Out of date soap bar in the room. Rooms feel small with the furniture and bed taking up most of the space.

The restaurant has massively improved with amazing food - recommend you give it a try and you won’t be disappointed
Pros:

We have regularly visited the Bradford Hotel over the years but I would say over the last six months on each of our visits the meals have been delicious, generous and reasonably priced. The chef is very keen to impress the diners and we are told is introducing new ideas at the moment to make the menu even better. The service has also improved and a big mention to Earnest and Ibs who are very welcoming and lovely. Totally recommend you give it a try.

national holidays
Pros:

stayed one night on a national holidays trip to leeds / york hotel good for the price you pay and food not bad at all although a bit limited for choice for the mains plenty of deserts on offer room was clean and presentable and the only complaint was the radiator which needs bleeding as it sounde like a waterfall running all night and if i was staying any longer i would have bought a key and done it myself (room 405) spoke to others on the bus and it seems to be a problem in a number of rooms but aside from this would stay here again without question. breakfast was good and eggs cooked to order so no rubber fried eggs toast a bit of a pain though with only one 4 slice toaster for the whole restaurant to use and a bigger industrial type one would be better or maye a couple of more large sliced ones. didn;t drink in the hotel as there is a wetherspoons only a 4 minute walk away

Poor
Pros:

Stayed here for one night for work, usually stay at the Midland but it was full. Paid a similar room rate too. First impressions reception was good. Room was once nice- tired and dirty around the edges. Corners of carpets had not been cleaned for a long time. Bath was a disgrace - unusable- no matter how hard the cleaner tries that bath will never look good. It needs a new enamel coating. Gave me a jack and Jill room and put me next door to someone who appears to be on a long term let paid for possibly by the council. He had friends round and whilst they were not shouting or being over loud the very nature of the jack and Jill room meant that I was kept awake. In the morning I had to have a cold shower as the boiler was broken. I learned that on check out - the reception didn’t bother to advise guests of the problem. I raised my concerns on check out and asked management to contact me as I didn’t want to leave a poor review- no contact. I sent a message via the booking system to ask again for someone to contact me - still no contact. I will not stay here again and I am surprised that it achieves a 3 star status. It was definitely 2 * in my opinion with poor customer care. The Midland is the same price and parking is included.

Fine
Pros:

Nothing wrong with the hotel but the chap in the next door room was bellowing down his phone until well after midnight, so be careful if you get a room with an adjoining door.

Excellent value and central location
Pros:

Stayed at Bradford Hotel for 5 nights and have to say it was a very pleasant experience. The staff were excellent. They could not do enough to help and always took time to ensure that you were happy with the service. I used the restaurant most evenings and although the menu was limited, the food was tasty and very well priced. I would highly recommend this hotel if you were staying here for business purposes or wanted something central.
