Pros:

This hotel does not deserve 4 stars. It’s hardly 3 stars. Rooms are decorated old-fashioned and beds were not comfortable. We stayed 4 people in a King and Twin room. All four of us woke up with back pain. Won’t stay again in any way.

Pros:

Swimming pool and sauna/spa is small but good. Gym is smal and some of the limited range equipment are broken.
Breast is OK and some gluten free options available

Pros:

Rooms are dated. Gym was ok but seemed to smell more than normal. Service at the bar very poor- clearly the girl left on her own to serve had never worked behind a bar before as she couldn’t pull a beer or identify types of gin. Very slow.

Pros:

It was ok, expected two double beds as per description and photos but ended up with one double bed and a slightly rickety double sofabed. Bathroom was very dated and towels nearing the end of their life. The reception area seemed to have been recently renovated but the rooms have plenty of room for improvement.

Pros:

Hi, unfortunately my stay was a little spoilt. The pool area and changing rooms are showing signs of wear and does not seem to be very clean I booked this hotel, as it had a pool area). I have to say the staff in that area where great, very polite and professional. I also reported that my room had noise through the night coming from the Airconditioning area. Gurling noises, like water air locks in the pipes. This did spoil my nights sleep. I reported this to reception and they were very apologetic. Overall, the staff where very polite and professional.

Pros:

Bit tired looking in places (the in-room phones look like relics from The Ark!) and could do with an update but it was clean and everything in the room worked. Very happy with the price and service. Breakfast was OK and the team provided gluten free toast on request. Bravo!

Mixed... comfortable, but dreadful service and £££
Pros:

Rooms clean and comfortable, but the service in the bar and restaurant were DREADFUL! Too short staffed and staff not well trained - had to wait more than 15 mins for a drink! Food very average. Expensive for what I paid for a Saturday night in the middle of September.

Two thumbs up
Pros:

I gave it 5 stars because the staff is very accommodating EXCEPT, there is no elevator and we had to haul 3 large suitcases, plus 3 carryons UP and DOWN the stairs. No help was offered. But, they are holding those same bags (long story) for us while we galavant around the UK

A pleasant staying!
Pros:

We appreciated how clean and quiet the room was.
The check out at 12pm gave us the chance to relax after breakfast.
The breakfast was very nice apart from the orange juice. The hotel and the guests deserve a better quality of orange juice.

Nice Hotel, but you have to pay for parking
Pros:

The staff were very good only gets four stars because they did have trouble finding me with my dinner so it was a little bit cold when it arrived and breakfast was an absolute shambles not the fault of the hotel or the staff but the coachload of visitors that were very rude And anyone would think they’re never eaten before.
Good Wi-Fi, you do have to pay for parking, which is a bit annoying

Pros:

The staff were all very welcoming and Jason on reception was fabulous. The bar was comfortable and plenty of drink options.
The room on the other hand felt very dated and the bed and pillows were so uncomfortable that a restful nights sleep was not possible.
