The dining area was nice and staff were friendly. Breakfast options were good and food was nice.
Room was dated and felt unclean. Patch on ceiling from a leak, woodwork chipped and looked like mould spores. Room felt musty, wet room flooded, no extraction in there either so a steamy mess. Shower curtain fell off, hair around the sink which must have been from a previous guest. Rubbish behind the chair in the room. Socket by the bed didn’t work.
Unfortunately It just didn’t feel like a 4 star. It didn’t feel like a clean and fresh hotel room. It was very dated in the room. The spa area wasn’t maintained either and uncomfortable to use so chose to go back to the room to get dressed but didn’t want to spend too much time in there either.
Overall, we got what we paid for I guess. It was only £130 for 3 for the night and included breakfast.

Bit expensive for room only price
Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Grandchildren loved finding the animals and the activity pack was great. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We also used the swimming pool which was great too.
Breakfast was lovely. Evening meal was ok but the children’s fish fingers were not jumbo and not nice. Churros did not come with chocolate dipping sauce just more very sweet caramel sauce.
Location and hotel was dog friendly
Unfortunately the room was damp and there was a very large brown patch on the rooms ceiling.
Myself and our daugher woke up coughing in the night as the smell of damp became worse. Noted Woodlice in the bathroom. By the time we had all showered and settled it was late and my son had fallen asleep so too difficult ask to move rooms also had a dog with us.
There was also marks on the walls, shabby fixtures and fittings.
It was an accessible room.
I would think twice if you have any respiratory issues staying here.
We tried to address when we left and also have sent several emails but no reply.

Clean, affordable hotel in a good location. Staff were friendly and approachable. The facilities, ie restaurant, room, foyer were to a good standard and well-kept. I had a comfortable and relaxing stay.
The shower temperature was not great. Could get it to heat up to my liking. Other than that everything else was fine.

It never happened. If it wasn't for the excellent staff at Holiday Inn we wouldn't have had a break.

Staff especially Cambell, Emma and Kelly, and J who found my car key along with credit cards and made sure it was returned to me safely. These people are a credit to your Company, a pleasure to meet them.
Room was spotless, bed really comfortable with good quality linen.
Swimming pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Jacuzzi a real bonus
We had no window, just a skylight which did not open and we did request a ground floor room as we are both disabled, but were allocated 3rd floor. (ROOM 509)
The hotel receptionist checked and it would appear Booking.com had not passed this on with our reservation. Thankfully there was a lift.
We would have liked 2 armchairs, the second chair was hard plastic and uncomfortable, but as our stay was just 2 nights, it was acceptable. There was no window in the bathroom either so overall it felt a little claustrophobic.
Staff were excellent and it was so clean.
The showers in the changing rooms were see through so I was unable to shower my little boy as it was busy.

Have stayed in this hotel before and liked it hence coming back its in a good location for main tourist places in Norfolk . Breakfast was good and room was adequate.
This Hotel is in dire need of a revamp, internally its looking tired and furniture looks well used.
While the swimming pool was quite nice, although bit on the small side as regular members occupied most of it and left little room for us to swim. The changing facilities are really poor.
The external appearance of this Hotel is shabby, the gardens are not maintained and the windows etc are covered in spider webs, very untidy.
It was peaceful, food was very good, breakfast laid out really well with plenty of choice. Staff were all helpful and polite. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable.
Garden was ok but could do with a tidy up !
