Please note, the property offers valet parking only and it costs £30 per day. Guests must not park their own car unless using Clifford's car park opposite, which is run by the council. Please be aware that the Clifford's Tower is undertaking some vital conservation works to protect the tower and make improvements for visitors - this will restrict your view of the tower slightly from some of the rooms, but everything will be back to normal later this year. Sorry for the inconvenience

Very nice hotel, definitely worth checking out
Pros:

It was our first stay in the Hilton York, and stayed for one night. The location is great, the room was big enough and quiet, with two queen beds, the Wifi was good, the breakfast was good, the bathroom was clean and well-stocked. And the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful, fast and competent and really friendly, even during the busiest parts of the day. We used the valet service for the car, which was a breeze, too. So all in all: a very recommendable stay.

Cons:

The mattresses on both beds were a bit tired: Both me (big guy) and my wife (small lady) could feel the coils of the springs.
I hope the hotel can fix this "issue" soon-ish, because everything else was of a high standard.

A short but extremely pleasant stay at this hotel. Would highly recommend.
Pros:

The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Plenty of accessories in the room and bathroom. Breakfast was extremely substantial.
The hotel was quite close to the main shopping area and other attractions.

Top notch beds and staff in a quiet corner of the old walled city
Pros:

Great location, high quality beds, v helpful staff, welcoming to children including a kids corner by reception

Cons:

The breakfasts are pretty costly and kids are almost same price as adults, wish I’d pre booked a rate with them included.

ENJOYED YORK AND THE MINSTER, VERY INTERESTING CITY

Location..warm and welcoming staff..excellent standard of customer care, wide and variety choice of breakfast....Felix the chef served yr food with a smile....I was there for 3 nights..queen size bed was so comfy ..restful night sleep allowed yr batteries to be charged..for yr next day of adventure..room was spacious clean..everything you need for a relaxing time...I was on 3rd floor..had a fabulous view of Clifford Tower.. found unique hotel sends a text on how yr stay is..I didn't use there is a 24hr gym..overall runs on a very high standard.

Cons:

I am sure it was miscommunication....I did ask for a wake up call on the day I was travelling back..home..I didn't receive one..slight inconvenience...would def stay there againl
