Our stays at Boone Tavern have always been great but this time was the best. Shae was our hostess at check-in on Thursday afternoon and then again at checkout on Saturday morning. She just seemed to make our stay seem special with her pleasant personality, professionalism and upbeat attitude. We had breakfast before we left and were so pleased with our server Rebecca providing excellent service and wonderful personality.
A gem of a historic hotel. Awesome room with a jacuzzi tub. Couldn't have been happier with our stay! Staff are delightful.

Rooms on the small side, but pleasant
Super cozy and quaint room with real Southern charm I remember as a kid. The restaurant was very good, and the staff were all super nice.

The building is so beautiful and inviting. The room feels like comfort and warmth. The front desk employees were so nice (even when we locked our key in the room in the first hour of getting it).
Dinner was very expensive. Spoonbread was pitiful not even close to the real thing. Ceasar salad wasn't worth $5 much less $15. Was it suppose to be chic that it was just uncut romaine leaves? While the salmon and drink were good, the meal with tip was 1/3 of my last semester bill at Berea . Just saying.....

My breakfast was delicious.
I was born and raised in Berea as my dad was a faculty member beginning in 1956. Boone Tavern was my first "real job" when Richard Hougan was there. The rooms are small and there is no comfy chair in them.
Breakfast was very good however, no tomato juice available.
Good bar and bar staff however no Bloody Mary available and some bourbons listed were unavailable.
Location is excellent, staff very friendly. Food was average.
Mattresses very hard, not comfortable.
Have stayed at Boone Tavern for over 20 years. Always a great place to stop.

Amazing atmosphere! Food is very tasty and drinks are too. Drew the bartender is great and will make you a great drink! Servers and the front desk attendants are helpful. The housekeepers do their jobs very well.
Our room was clean and quaint. The beds were notably comfortable. We felt safe and loved being on the beautiful campus.
The food was underwhelming for the high price.
