My room was clean. The toilet when flushed had the water level rise to a concerning amount most flushes. The TV in my room would not turn down below 8. Which sucks because if you sleep with the TV on, it’s just a little too loud in my opinion.
DO NOT PAY FOR LAKE VIEW! I seen where I could pay to upgrade my room to have a Lake View. As a Hilton Honors member, I got to pick my room free of charge but here’s a picture of my Lake View from the top floor Room 402.
The Interstate behind the lake did have a noticeable sound and if you are a light sleeper, it will for sure be a problem. I hope the backside of the hotel is quieter. I happened to be drunk before sleep so that wasn’t a problem during this stay but it’s noisy in the room haha!
Everything was satisfactory
Wasn’t any dislikes to be honest
Overpriced rooms. We paid $400/ night for a room that although big did not have any style to it. It was like left over furniture and art work were thrown together. The bathroom had cracked floor tiles and the sink probably original to when the place was built. We stayed two nights. No room service provided. We had to get coffee pods from the front desk both days. I would not recommend this place at all. Breakfast (as abysmal as it was) is not included. Would never stay here again. Only good thing was the front desk people were nice.
Good location. The grounds were well kept. They had nice outside seating areas.
Worn out inside. Large crack in room. Broken shade that had to be held open with binder clips. Breakfast was included when we made our reservation thru booking, but an employee said it was not included despite us having written proof. They said booking needs to “update their website.” We woke up to no water and were told there was a water main break with no eta as to when it would be repaired. Fortunately, we were able to transfer our reservation to Doubletree. Katie at Hilton Garden and Melody at Doubletree worked together to make that happen so I give both of them credit for making the most out of a bad situation.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel about 6 months ago, and then again over Easter weekend. We got the same room both times. The first time we stayed in the room several months ago, my husband advised the front desk that there were issues with the room. He also submitted a review that was requested by Hilton after our stay. It is supposed to be a handicapped accessible room. Six months ago there were several problems with the room, and NONE of them have been addressed. If you touch the toilet paper in the bathroom, the holder immediately falls apart, allowing the roll of toilet paper and the little bar that holds it to skitter across the floor. I just love using toilet paper that has rolled across the floor in a hotel bathroom. It was the same way six months ago. There are no extra electrical outlets at either side of the bed. Just a wall ouitlet for the clock and lamp. So, if you want to charge anything at the bedside, or you have a C-Pap, you have to unplug the clock or the lamp to use the wall outlet. Six months ago the hotel gave us an extension cord that stretched across the floor to the desk so my husband could have electricity on his side of the bed. Of course, I tripped over the extension cord that stretched across the room. Speaking of lamps, there is a massively HUGE lamp suspended over one of the bedside tables. It is clearly meant for a very large space, but they just stuck it there. The bedside table on that side of the bed is a teeny tiny little marble topped side able they must have taken from another spot in the hotel along with the enormous lamp suspended over it. The table is too small for even a bottle of water, without the water falling off. It was the same way six months ago. There are "blackout" shades on the window that have to be held up with binder clips like you would use on a packet of paper. Once the binder clips are removed, the shade falls, and the shade itself is riddled with holes. It looks like the material is rotting. It was that way six months ago. I am disappointed that Hilton pays absolutely NO attention to guest concerns. P.S. We are Hilton Diamond memebers, so we are not strangers to what one should expect from a hotel.
The staff was amazing and very friendly
seeing the interstate out hotel room window.
Breakfast was great. Location to the dance competition was close and easy access. Room was clean and cozy.
The beds seemed smaller than a queen. My older two daughters shared a bed and they kept complaining about touching each other.
We were in the area for a concert in the location was fabulous
My only recommendation is to book on the fourth floor… We were on the third floor and it just seemed like we could hear footsteps too easily above us.
All good
