embarrassing for a hilton property
Pros:

The chef was attentive and nice although he didn't have the right ingredients to make any good meals.

Cons:

I only saw someone at the front desk 2-3 times as I entered and left the property over our 3 night stay. House keeping replaced some of our towels, but didn't make the beds or clean up the room after the first night. Since that occurred, we just hung the do not disturb sign the remainder of the time. I also had to troubleshoot a plumbing issue since no one from maintenance showed up timely and when they did, I was in the shower and they said they'd return in 10 minutes, but NEVER did at least the ~hour or so we were there after I finished showing.

Pros:

The breakfast was great and the location was perfect. Everywhere I needed to go was right down the street.

Cons:

The first night the water did not get hot, and the shower was stopped up. Once reported the next morning, the maintenance worker fixed it right away.

Bed Bugs
Pros:

We came for a soccer tournament weekend. Drove 8 hrs and crashed without really inspecting our surroundings. Woke up early after the 1st night and my son and I each had 100+ bed bug bites covering our bodies. The adult bed bugs were still actively crawling in the bed when we turned on the lights. It was awful! The level of infestation was extreme and not something that was “just carried in by a previous guest.” Upon further inspection there were many levels of the breeding cycle in the bedding, previous guests blood stains, droppings etc. Additionally, no hand soap provided in the room and we had to use bath gel.

Warm Attentive Staff, Icy weather.
Pros:

Weather was cold and icy but the hotel was very warm with lots of smiling dedicated workers looking out for the needs of their clients. There were a few shortages because of the weather but the facility was kept up and going with Great, Great staff and management. We will be back.
