It was a nice room but unfortunately I had several dead decaying cockroaches in my room so it clearly meant nobody had cleaned it recently

Great peaceful calm beautiful beachfront resort.
Pros:

Very nice cute resort. The food was great. The staff was very hospitable and friendly. The showers were clean and new and had good water pressure and temperature.

Cons:

One of the toilets backed up and overflowed all over the floor. They were very quick to clean it up but it smelled very bad. We're lucky it happened the morning we were going to check out. This isn't their fault though and they acted quickly to fix it.

Pros:

Location— steps from the beach, their own generator so you don’t have to deal with blackouts, walk-in freezer to freeze our fish filets for the drive home, fast Wi-Fi, and they make their own ice. Totally self-sufficient.

From the receptionist to the bell-desk, to the bartender to the restaurant chefs and crew, the service was top notch.

We caught our own fish everyday and the restaurant cooked it per our instructions perfectly every night.

Hands down, best hotel in BoLA.

Cons:

That my stay was too short. I could use another 5 days there. Thank you Los Vientos! I will be back!

Prime location. Beach front. Nice beach bar. No complaints.

Cons:

Food is not very good. I have no idea how they manage to serve fish that's not fresh in high fishing season. Ceviche and guacamole were good. Fish of the day was not fresh, frozen, chewy.

Hotel staff gave me a low budget room with 1 bed after I clearly paid for a 2-bedroom beach front room at a much higher price. They argued it was Booking.com’s fault for advertising incorrectly.
