Great location and atmosphere. Stepping inside took you straight back to the 1920’s. Everything was clean & well maintained. The staff were great, especially Ash. He was incredibly welcoming during the check-in process & gave us some great advice on things to do & see during our stay.

Staying at Hadley's Orient was an absolute highlight of our trip to Tassie. Perfect in every way.
Pros:

Hadley's is perfectly located within walking distance of everything Hobart CBD has to offer. Our room was dark and cosy and bathroom perfectly appointed. Very quiet at night. Comfy bed and regulated air kept the temperature just right. Buffet breakfast downstairs was excellent value and quality. We missed out on high tea but admired the location and will return for that experience. Reception staff were exceptional. Overall an excellent stay.

Our stay at Hadleys!
Pros:

Ash at front counter was always super friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble. As was all the staff we encountered. 2nd time staying at this lovely hotel. 😊 would gladly recommend to friends and family. Great location to restaurants(my favourite Drunken Admiral), Hop on Hop off bus , Salamanca Markets ferry to Mona.

Cons:

Maybe the bar or somewhere to sit and have a coffee, tea n cake ! ( I know its in the room) but we would walk back to hotel after dinner 8.30/9.30 & would like to have ben able to sit and enjoy that at the hotel. But not really a big deal! But that was something we missed.

Stunning views of old church. Lovely staff. No onsite parking. Walking distance to shops.
Pros:

Had an old look to it. Was central to shops.

Cons:

Parking was not onsite had to cross 4 lanes of traffic to get to parking and walk about 10 mins back to hotel.
