Comfy Clean Hotel in a great location.
Pros:

Great location on Murray Street at the top of the hill. Minutes from Salamanca Place markets Franklin Square food truck Plaza and CBD shops our room was comfortable with great toiletries. It was cleaned well every day in the morning, and the kitchenette and fridge were fabulous

Cons:

Breakfast at the hotel was disappointing. Everything was self-serve even though there was a coffee machine to do proper cappuccinos and lattes. It was not staffed. The hot food selection was unappetising.

Pros:

The location was hard to beat, as well as the historic charm of the place. The staff, whether at Reception or behind the scenes were all so friendly & chatty. Not sure if this is an exclusively Hadley's trait, or Tasmania in general! If we ever visit Hobart again, the Orient will be our first & only choice of accommodation.

Cons:

We couldn't fault anything.

Great stay at Hadleys - comfortable and clean room, beautiful old world feel with interesting history and well located.
Pros:

Great location and beautiful old world feel to this hotel. The hotel has great works of art throughout and the rooms are very tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. Lovely range of toiletries provided. There is a cool little bar and lounge areas to hang out in and the reception staff were fabulously helpful. Cafes, restaurants, camp shops and boutiques all close by and the waterfront and Salamanca a 5 minute walk away. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The best value for money !
Pros:

We could not believe the quality of the service and the rooms we received for a price that was lower than many other hotels in Hobart's CBD. The staff were unbelievable! Whatever we requested was attended to within minutes. I am already booking to return!

Cons:

Only one problem was that the sofa was uncomfortable as it dipped in the middle.

Excellent — would stay there again!
Pros:

Nice Victorian charm, quiet room, great location just a couple of blocks from the waterfront, very good breakfast buffet, and the hotel front desk staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

Cons:

Our room looked out into an alley so no view to speak of but it was quiet.
