Perfect stay for a short city trip
Pros:

Wonderful historic building in the perfect location - close to the water and easy to get to the airport. The staff was exceptionally friendly and very welcoming. The room fitted the description and there was nothing that we’ve missed! Thank you so much for the stay!

Fabulous few days — i would definitely stay at Hadleys again
Pros:

Fantastic staff, beautiful gracious old hotel, atmospheric bar and quality pianost/singer on Saturday evening

Cons:

Bed a little soft for my liking.

Hadley’s Orient was perfectly situated and we would definitely stay again if we return to Hobart.
Pros:

Staff were all amazing, always polite, cheery and happy to help.

Cons:

Our bedroom had no window to allow outside air in, only a ‘Juliet Balcony’ which opened onto enclosed atrium space.

Cozy but seek breakfast elsewhere
Pros:

Location was great. Loved the old style ambience of the hotel.

Cons:

Bar closed too early.
The breakfast did not meet expectations for the cost. Food was cold and not replenished while we were there. The eggs were the only thing topped up when we asked if more of the hot buffet was going to be available. Pastries and muffins were hard or stale.

Fantastic location and excellent service
Pros:

Excellent location, one of the best in Hobart. Easy access to so many services and walking distance to everything in the city and waterfront. Excellent service from all staff. Room was lovely and clean, comfortable and serviced daily. Very comfortable bed and quiet (except Saturday night there was some noise from the road for a short period).

Nothing. It was excellent
