The hotel needs to improve its staff training, customer service orientation and facilities.
Pros:

The location is terrific. Many of Adelaide’s sights are within walking distance. It is also directly opposite a train station and great restaurants.

Cons:

The TV in the room was blurred and had audio issues, the hot water was difficult to adjust when showering, a lunch that we ordered with room service was dry and cold and the car parking was very tight and their system for payment didn’t work well. Although ultimately fixed, we felt that the staff made it our problem to fix. The lifts were extremely slow but there was a notice to say they were being upgraded.

A good base for the North Terrace area, with adequate facilities and comfort.
Pros:

Location; large size room

Cons:

Noise from plumbing in room above, rising to a high-pitched whine when their shower was on certain volumes.
Also, one of the lifts was out of service, leading to long waits at times.
The hotel gave the impression of fraying abit round the edges.

After 3 years of staying there, this will be my last..
Pros:

My room was changed to one that had working a/c and a TV that worked...
The staff go out of their way to help but it is not their fault the property is need of maintenance..

Cons:

The whole property needs to be be upgraded. I have been staying there for many years and each year it is getting very behind (dated).
My last room had no working a/c, 2 power points to charge phone not working and no tv.
I was going to put up with it but staying for 4 nights in that room was not going to happen.
Room was changed that night.
Lifts have been an ongoing problem for at least 12 months and many people were complaining to me when we were waiting for them (up to 5 mins).
Car park is also very difficult to use with a 4x4

Not worth the money

Buffet breakfast was good

Cons:

One of the rooms wasn't ready on check in had to wait an hour .Wasn't clean . car parking is a joke.wasn't told if you use your car during your stay your not guarantee to park in the hotel carpark but to go to the overflow carpark a ten minute walk from the hotel.which I found out from reception when I tried to re-enter the hotel carpark.Hotel lifts were skipping levels it take up to 8 minutes wait for so ended up using the service lift.Conceige is non existent waited 10 minutes for them but no showed up .Not worth the money
