Location cleanliness
Overall, I had a great stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the parking felt safe, with a restaurant conveniently located next door, which was very handy.
The only downside was the check-in experience. The front desk staff member who assisted me was quite unfriendly and did not engage in any conversation. As front-desk staff play a key role in shaping the customer experience, a more welcoming approach would go a long way in encouraging guests to return.
This may simply reflect a different service culture, but it was noticeably different from the warm and friendly hospitality I am used to in New Zealand.
