Dishonest encounter with staff.

My husband and I returned to this hotel a second time recently when we were in the Fairfield County area because the hotel rooms had a walk-in shower which is more convenient and comfortable for me. We were dismayed to find that this time our room this time had a bathtub. When I asked the hotel staff about it, they didn't seem to know what I was talking about and offered us a room with a roll-in handicapped accessible shower with no door. I tried to explain to the staff that we definitely had a walk-in shower with glass doors. They didn't believe me, and insisted that the hotel had no regular walk-in showers so we stuck with the room with the handicapped accessible roll-in shower with no doors. It was very uncomfortable for me and my husband due to the water rolling out of the tub and made the floor wet and slippery. I looked this up on the hotel website and found that the hotel did show walk-in showers with glass doors the way that I recalled in a King bed room which is the type of sleep set up we had both times. We will definitely NOT be staying here again!

No respite from politics
Pros:

Was highly disappointed in the prominent display of stacks of The Epoch Times on the table directly across from the reception desk. This, per Wikipedia, is a “far-right” newspaper of the Falun Gong. No other reading materials were seen anywhere. According to other online reviews, this has been observed for over a year. When I’m staying at a hotel, I prefer not to be confronted with strong political points of view.

Though other aspects of the stay were fine I will not be staying here again.

The first room I stayed in had a clogged sink and the AC was making very loud noise which we couldn’t sleep. They switch

Cons:

The check in process was horrible my room was not ready when I arrived. The front desk staff had an attitude the manager on duty had an attitude as well. I had a conference work call that I was late for because my room was not ready until 3:20 pm.
