Plas Penaeldroch Manor

We had a really lovely stay. Carie and Mike were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. The kids absolutely loved the hot chocolate, and I loved the breakfast — definitely quality over quantity, with everything really well done.

The location is spot on, especially if you enjoy walking, and being dog-friendly was a big plus for us. Mike’s recommendations were super helpful, and we really enjoyed listening to him tell us about the history of the Manor — genuinely fascinating!

And of course, Lola, the resident dog, was a very pleasant surprise and quickly became a favourite with us. 🐶

Super welcoming and comfortable, clean and tidy modern rooms with everything we needed to feel like we were in a home from home. The hosts were so lovely and friendly and the breakfast was great! Facilities for all ages, home made jam, beds were so comfy and the kids loved their stay! Thanks!

Communication with our hosts, prior to the visit, was excellent. The venue is very family friendly and we couldn't have felt more welcomed.
Little touches in the room, such as an action detecting night light, a make up towel and a welcome bowl of treats, made it even more special.
Carrie and Mike are lovely folks. We hope to be returning.

They've put a lot of effort into making it feel like home with lots of little touches, like a large selection of teas and a dog to greet you. My kids particularly loved the toys available downstairs and I really appreciated the ease of having a suite for the family to stay in together. The location is beautiful with many things to do in the area.

Full of character

Beautiful location, amazing old manor, large rooms and great facilities. Perfectly located, we were able to visit everywhere we had planned and our location was not far from anything. The owners were so friendly, helpful and super knowledgable about the area. They gave us some tips on places to visit and they were spot on. Overall I would love to visit again and I recommend Plas Penaeldroch Manor. We got so lucky to find it especially with a family of 5.
