Full of character

Beautiful location, amazing old manor, large rooms and great facilities. Perfectly located, we were able to visit everywhere we had planned and our location was not far from anything. The owners were so friendly, helpful and super knowledgable about the area. They gave us some tips on places to visit and they were spot on. Overall I would love to visit again and I recommend Plas Penaeldroch Manor. We got so lucky to find it especially with a family of 5.

Cleanliness, facilities, breakfast, host

We loved everything about this place, from the warm welcome, the spacious suite, the fantastic breakfast.
Mike and Carrie, have poured love into this place and it shows, they have thought of everything to make your stay special.
They are very knowledgeable and we will definitely return.

Beautiful property, may seem on the outside upon arrival there is construction work going on, but inside is all furnished. Lovely staff, beautiful location, only one downside and nothing got to do with the property, is the midgies as it's near the river.

Very caring owners, nothing was too much trouble. Really needed welcome drink on arrival. The information they gave us about surrounding area was detailed and informative. The suites were decorated to a high standard.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The upstairs two-bedroom flat was perfect for our needs with a great view of Moel Siabod. In particular, it was one of the best breakfasts I've had at a hotel/B&B for a long time - special mention to a selection of fine home-made marmalades and the chance to have tea followed by coffee: machine-made and good quality!

Plas Penaeldroch Manor was excellent! We had a family room with two bedrooms, two ensuites, and a family/sitting room - which was wonderful. Everything was clean and tidy and worked well. The location is close to Betws-Y-Coed, but not so close as to be overwhelmed with visitor/tourist traffic. It's quiet and comfortable. Breakfast, both hot and cold, was cooked by out hosts, Mike and Carrie, and was great. Mike and Carrie are so outgoing, friendly, and helpful - they "made" our stay. We really appreciated their local knowledge and guidance, and their sharing the history of the house and their work to restore it in stages was a joy to hear, and being shown around the building was a special treat. Very highly recommended - we'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and very cozy, which made us feel at home right away. The owners were extremely kind, friendly, and welcoming, always happy to help and make sure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality created such a warm and pleasant atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable place to stay.
