La chambre est merveilleuse
This unique gem of a hotel is my favorite in the city. The location is in one of the most beautiful squares in all of Paris. Every room overlooks the Place des Vosges. It feels like you are a special guest in an exceptional home rather than in a hotel. The staff cannot do enough for you. I dream of coming back. For a truly unique Paris experience, this hotel exceeds all expectations.
Beautiful small hotel in stunning setting. My daughter and I stayed for four nights. Our room was lovely with a view of Place des Vosges, which we adored.
I had read some reviews about the lack of reception and staff availability, but can honestly say, neither were an issue for us. There was never not a member of staff available should we need anything. And they were always absolutely lovely, offering to help us any time.
We chose not to have breakfast in the hotel, instead we had it at Carette each morning, which is literally almost next door. But we had exquisite cakes left in our room on arrival. They were delicious and a lovely touch.
I cannot fault the hotel. It was perfect for us and I highly recommend it.
Una estadía maravillosa con un servicio impecable y unas habitaciones fuera de serie ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Excelente hubicacion !!!!
Perfect Parisien hideaway. Very private
Amazing view everyday onto the Place des Vosges! No attention to detail is spared in this amazingly artsy hotel: from the teapot to the art books spread around the apartment, everything you see or touch reminds you of the thoughtfulness and the discerning taste of the hotel owner / designer. Bravo!
La place des Vosges est un ilot de tranquillité et de beauté au coeur de la capitale; l'hôtel cour des Vosges est dans un écrin!
Very Nice staff. Big room. No lobby and you have to lock yourself into the hotel at night With no one to Greet you. No indoor breakfast facility. No coffee mashine in room.
An amazing experience! This is a tiny boutique hotel with 16 rooms. The entry is a "hidden" door between 2 restaurants. But once you are in you are enveloped in a welcome warmth.
There is no traditional hotel lobby. You enter a small vestibule with a few tables and a view of a courtyard. The staff greets you with cordial warmth and offer you a drink while they check you in.
the room was pure magic! Every amenity you could imagine and a spectacular view of the Place des Vosges. It had a welcoming, chic Parisian literary vibe -- thoughtfully appointed mini fridge, two crystal carafes of liquor and mixers, exquisite pastries from their award-winning chef, water bottles for exploring Paris in comfort, an a lovely note with beautiful roses on the table.
Plush robes, soft slippers, an a bed so comfortable that even in Paris I was contemplating sleeping in.
The small café downstairs serves phenomenal breakfasts and lunches. But of course, you are in the Marais, so there is no lack of food all around.
A perfect parisian pied-à-terre!
This review is a tricky one as upon reading other reviews, I really didn't know what to expect. I have to say, it wasn't an easy experience. The hotel itself is all about the fabulous location (doesn't get any better), views and boutique vibe. The rooms are lovely and stylish. Yet the service is appalling. And yes, it's a real problem not having a reception or concierge. The staff couldn't even give me a dinner recommendation. I had to use their app and waited 3 hours before giving up and just googling something. I wonder why they have the restaurant on the ground floor as it was empty the entire week except for the weekend. There are so many restaurants and cafes around the square, I think they should change the restaurant for a reception and lounge perhaps. It was weird walking into a dark, cramped cupboard-like hallway as a reception with an odd staff member there every now and again. It was incredibly expensive as well so the value was a challenge for me. I had to ask every day for fresh teabags as they were never replaced and all the other small annoyances reported in the other reviews were consistent with my experience.
So you may be wondering why I have given this 5 stars. Because I'd go back. I haven't been able to find another hotel in Paris that has such a fabulous location, in such a great building with such a great view. I liked the rooms too - they were all cosy (I have stayed in 4 of them) and if there is a competitor, I will switch in a second. Until that time, I only hope the owners sell to a boutique hotel company that understand how to run a hotel with excellent service and guests' needs at heart.
Staff and concierge were very helpful and professional. The hotel is in a great area of Paris!
Stunning rooms, feels like you are apartment sitting at the home of a celebrity artist with impeccable taste. Rooms are the most stylish I have ever stayed in. Great location too!
Very friendly staff. Great suite and hotel was really a marvelous hidden gem.
Small hotel overlooking Place des Vosges. Rooms are a little on the small side. Nevertheless, very clean and comfortable with many amenities. Not much of a lobby area and has a tiny elevator that takes you to the upper two floors.
The hotel staff is very helpful and attentive. There is always someone to greet you at the door and offer assistance.
We were immediately comped for our meals and were given a departure gift because the elevator was out of order for a few hours.
The hotel is a real surprise--a very good surprise--the food was excellent. The lobby was very small, but it was enough and felt intimate, more so than small. The service, food and amenities were definitely the quality of a luxury hotel. The location was in walking distance of many restaurants and museums.
From start to finish the experience has been awful. The front desk is not equipped to even answer the phone much less provide answered to any questions about the neighborhood. My room which was a deluxe suite did not have even a tea kettle or a coffee pot. The room was very dark with the lightbulbs of very low wattage. The Toto toilet features were inoperable until the final day of my stay. There wet no salts for the lovely tub and no shower caps. The only thing provided in the bath were cotton balls and Q tips. On my final full day I called reception and just keep letting it ring for 28 minutes hoping they would answer. In that time I got dressed, brushed my teeth and finally went downstairs. They said something was wrong with their phones. Other guests were walking down in the night clothes. I inquired why there wasn’t a coffee/tea service in the room. She said there was and that it was in the bar. I speak passable French when the restaurant staff brought my breakfast they showed me a closet next to the bar which held a tea kettle and a mini bar but nothing else. When I checked in 3 days before it was not shown to me and the person giving me the tour said the doors led to another room. It was also very loud due to its proximity on the place des Voges but there were no ear plugs available. I so wanted to love the hotel and the room but it was a severe disappointment. And for the 5 start price it was BARELY 3 star service. Everyone was polite and happy but there was no management and it seemed there was no grown up hotelier in charge. Don’t wast your time or get seduced by the room photos and romance of the Place des Voges. Cours des Voges didn’t warm my heart — it broke it.
A tiny hotel on one corner of a world-famous, 17th century square enclosing a park and fountain...reception area only about 10x20 with all materials in a shelved armoire ! Wonderfully helpful staff..bilingual..Antoine, Jasmine, and others. A small elevator, thank goodness..a spacious room..and a superb view. Only negative..a miserable kitchen and sidewalk restaurant..don't eat there..go across to the nearest corner to the Cafe Carette.
This hotel is a unique - a 300 year old building that's been wonderfully restored with view out to the most beautiful (IMO) square in Paris in the colest Paris hood. It's a comfy stay with all the amenities of a great hotel, except no restaurant (there is a cafe in the hotel and 100s of restaurants right outside your door). Plus, the mixed modern and historical design creates a museum-like vibe with cool art, chic furnishings, high ceilings, and killer views of the square. It's totally hard to top the ambiance here, and we had a blast during our stay.
Okay, real talk: this hotel is pretty pricey. Yes, it's got a cool mix of modern and historical design, and the views of the square are amazing. And sure, you can cook in your room instead of going out to eat. But let's be real, not everyone wants to cook while they're on vacation. And with the cost of the room, you might not have much money left over for dining out. So while it's definitely a unique and comfortable place to stay, just be prepared to pay a premium for it.
This is an idiosyncratic, boutique hotel in an historic structure. It is far from being a 5 star luxury hotel. Although the staff at reception are very nice, the concierge service is abysmal and unresponsive. Although the beds are comfortable, the rooms are poorly appointed and cramped. One of the light switches was half-detached from the wall; another had a crackling short-circuit. The bathroom amenities are substandard. Based on their website and the price (1200 Euros a night) we were expecting so much more. This was a great disappointment.
