Very bad area of Rochester

Cons:

I was a late check-in. I no sooner put my car in park and was immediately met by a security guard telling me I needed to move. I told him I was there to check-in and he said it didn't matter, go park in a side lot and walk up. Once I parked and got out I heard what sounded like gunshots coming from nearby. I was immediately concerned about my safety and left. I did not check-in and left.

The sacrifice of necessity does not equate to cleanliness and safety.

When I booked the hotel it was based on location to the Civic Center. The directions were spot on

Cons:

However the room was not as clean as I thought. Upon arrival the staff was pleasant but distracted due to being filled up. I couldn't enter the area close to my room because they were replacing the rug releasing dust and allergens into the air. The outside door did not lock after hours.

Horrible and I would love to dispute the charge on my credit card. Not worth $125 a night!

It had an airport shuttle

Cons:

The place was so dirty! And my family and I were in bed and sound asleep at 8:30pm for a 3:30am airport arrival and at 8:30pm, the maintenance guy came and banged on the door to “fix our door”! It was horrible experience for the price we paid. Also, there was a cat roaming around the hotel. I am highly allergic and was not able to breathe all night!
