Hotel Istana Bandung

The entire hotel is rotting. It is dirty, dark and falling apart. The staff is not helpful at all. It is sitting in the hallway and lobby smoking and playing with the phone. I had to leave the room to tell them to stop video calling next to my room. There is no hot water and not wifi in the room. The bathroom was beyond imagination...and not on the good side. Stains everywhere and the ceiling and door rotting. The door would not open from inside once you close it. You need to use force expecting it to break any time.
The blanket had burned holes in it. There was no toilet paper and we were asked to buy our own. There is no bottled water. The windows are not closing.
Seriously, if you are looking for the worst time in a hotel ever experienced, go for it. But I strongly recommend to stay away from this place.

Your hotel look like a haunted house. So many mosquitos and ants, door is poor window is terrible, toilet go hot water and dirty and lots of spider webs.. i did not want to take a shower in that hotel. No wifi. Better to close down or improve. Its not operational standard.

This hotel is not maintained. Bad service. Dirty room. The hotel facilities are damaged. The hotel door is difficult to open / lock. The bathtub cannot be used. Dirty water. Lots of ants and cockroaches.

The hotel should not insist on offering room service. The hotel should be renovated first.

My hotel of choice when travelling through Malaysia.
Miss Lily on reception is excellent and always offers a smile.
Food is exceptional.
No complaints whatsoever- awesome.
Location is secondly none, with access to everything KL has to offer.

Used it for lunch only but good restaurant and the size on the sandwich, well it would have fed 10 of us, my colleague had the beef tenderloin and it looked good, suspect it is busy on a normal day but we didn't get there until 1:30 but all in all very good

I and my friend, stayed in this hotel for one night due to its proximity to Braga city walk and its cheap price. The location is just across the street from Crowne Plaza hotel. This is a very old hotel according to one of its crew the hotel, maybe from early 80s.
The lobby was outdated and the furniture was torn and dusty. There were only several guest stayed in this hotel when we stayed there.
My room was acceptably clean, but overall it was not maintained well. The air conditioner was cold and the hot water was very hot. The bed was not comfortable. The breakfast was only fried rice. Overall it was acceptable if you spent most of your time outside the hotel

Creepy and bad hotel. Staff dont stay at the hotel. Bad upkeep.Should not even be on any hotel listings.

Hotel needs to be closed. No customers.
