The hotel being located near the river is already a big plus, not to mention how calming and serene it feels once you step in. Divine services, a wonderful room to yourself, and all around worth the days and value you spend on.

Breakfast was excellent but repeated everyday with a few different options everyday

Nice hotel in the riverside of Ho Chi Minh. Staff was really good, especially in the club lounge where a lady named Chau Ton was extremely helpfull and made me almost be like at home.

Great location with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has traditional decor but is a bit dated due to its age, though it’s well-maintained. A renovation would be nice. Breakfast has a good variety, but the happy hour at the lounge is just average.

Khanh in the Club Lounge made my visits there truly enjoyable. He was very welcoming and friendly and had a strong eye for detail. He made sure I felt well looked after checking in with me. He watched other tables closely to ensure guests were well taken care of. Best of all was how welcomed I felt and what a pleasure it was to have a brief conversation with such an upbeat and vibrant person.

We just returned from a one-night stay at the Renaissance Riverside in HCMC. The hotel delivers a 5-star experience in almost every way. The staff at the club lounge, particularly Winnie and the manager on duty, took care of our every need and made every effort to accommodate us -- making us comfortable in the lounge while we waited for a late international flight. The breakfast was outstanding, more choices than we could ever have imagined and all prepared expertly. The food choices during happy hour will all creative and fun, making it easy for us to relax and just enjoy ourselves after an intense three-week travel schedule. When we were leaving, one of the lobby staff -- Richard -- waited with us for our ride to get there, then helped us load luggage into the vehicle. Almost all staff members spoke English and seemed to enjoy practicing their skills with good conversations. Our 10th floor suite had a view -- on two sides-- of the Saigon river and all the while action on the street below. The only possible downside was that the bathroom fixtures and furniture felt a bit dated -- but that was easy to overlook, considering the total experience. We will return for a longer visit next time.

I have had the pleasure of staying at the RR many times now and again they made my stay in March just awesome! The staff are caring and attentive. I was fortunate enough to have a beautiful view of the river!! The staff in the Club Lounge are beyond great as they were attentive to my every need. Chau, Winnie, Money, Abby , Tin and the rest were quick to handle any questions, eager to please and always helpful with suggestions and ideas on the local area. The lobby staff were always attentive and helpful as we prepared each day to head out to our meetings. They always make the RR my home away from home when I am in HCMC. I can't wait to return again in June :)

I want to give a special shout-out to the club lounge team. From welcoming us at the front door to helping us enjoy breakfast, light delights, and the entire overall experience, I must highlight a special person named Caelum. Caelum approached me during breakfast and asked about my overall trip here in Vietnam. The city of Vietnam has already treated me well, but Caelum made it unforgettable with such a wholesome personal conversation. From that small interaction, he took the time to become a wonderful tour guide for my next travel destination by creating a to do list in Da Nang, which was something out of the ordinary to expect. We chatted and he shared all the greatest tips and tricks, even turning our daily breakfast trip to this lounge into a wonderful experience. On my last day here before checking out, I needed to say goodbye to Caelum. He remembered my boyfriend and my names and ensured our check-out experience was completed smoothly. Caelum is such a delight; he truly takes care of the guests and makes it a wonderful experience. His hospitality and kindness are definitely reasons I want to come back. I hope to see Caelum, Ton Chau, and Vy back here at the club lounge real soon. This hotel is such an experience, and I can’t wait to come back soon.
