As Marriot chain hotel, quality is same as another Marriot properties but what have to be clearly mention is that we suffer from lack of communication in English when wants to check in reception. Meanwhile first amount of rooms charges deducted in RMB! After I objet to withdraw from account in RMB Instead of USD, reception claimed the amount will back and they again cut amount in USD! Now almost 3 days passed and still money didn’t retuned to balance! Quite freaky and unreliable reception desk!
Lack of communication in English and sexism being unreliable for calculation of bill! As soon as I request for explanation, they corrected the bill and amount decreased!

Actually the best beds and bedding here - we’ve stayed at a lot of hotels. Perfectly sized rooms for small families - separate bedroom to living room. Washing machine is a massive plus in China. Friendly staff - particularly the guys at the front door

The location was amazing, right in the heart of the main city area, making walking (while tiring due to the elevational nature of the city) everywhere that's worth seeing so easily accessible. The staff were super friendly, the rooms were clean, and served their purpose effectively! Would stay again just for the location itself.
The room a/c seemed to be controlled by the building and not the individual in the room, so I did tend to feel a little too warm, but luckily we were able to open the windows to let the fresh air come inside. But in reality, this is a me problem more than anything else.
The apartment was very spacious at a good location and we were always greeted politely by staffs at the entrance. The breakfast buffet only had a small selection but was very good quality and staffs offered very good service. We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment.
I developed a rash towards the end of my seven nights stay. There might be some mite issue with bedding. Otherwise everything else is excellent.

The apartment is off the road in a quiet corner of the street. But it’s still very central with shops and restaurants within walking distance. The staff were very helpful and happily helped us hail taxis from the main road. There’s a cool artisanal coffee shop right next door too.

As always I am very impressed with Marriot. It's the location of the hotel, efficiency and friendliness of the staff, facilities etc. The bathroom has floor to ceiling windows which is amazing.
