It was nice and clean and the bed was super comfortable. The shower was great and the employees were also very nice and friendly.

I have stayed at this Aloft before, years ago, and I appreciate the design aesthetic. The decor has held up over the years.
Previously parking was included in the room rate. Now it is an additional $15 daily fee--be aware that this location is situated where you would expect the majority of guests to drive and require parking. Furthermore, the lobby bar--which used to serve a decent cocktail--was a real let down this time. The bartender was out of tonic water, so I had to make do with ginger ale, yet the cocktail itself was full bar price. Finally, I had to check out one day early. The room rate was non-refundable, but I requested the staff member at check out to ensure that I was not charged for the final night's parking. Despite this request, the extra parking charge appeared on my credit card, so the issue required yet another phone call to straighten out.
Bottom line: if you are traveling to Mountain View, be aware there are MANY hotels in this quality and price range which offer better service and facilities.

Staff was not very friendly nor very helpful - we were traveling for a family gathering, but we travel very rarely and there was no sympathy for us not knowing exactly how things at this lodging worked.

The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel facilities were excellent, and overall I had a pleasant stay.
The mini fridge was very noisy and caused the entire desk to vibrate, and the air conditioner was also quite loud, especially at night. Another issue was the pillows. There were several small cube-shaped pillows, which were very uncomfortable to sleep on. I'm not sure why the hotel chose this design—standard-sized pillows would have been much more comfortable.
It was so nice, modern and clean. The staff was wonderful!

The location was great. The hotel is in excellent condition. Have a beautiful pool staff very friendly and accommodating.
The fire alarm went off in the morning and there was no staff to help misunderstand what was going on. They weren’t answering the phones, of course, but also no one came by to let us know that there wasn’t truly a fire that it was a false alarm.
