The best staff
Pros:

I was blessed to stay one week in this wonderful beautiful property, which is very nicely put together, well decorated, with a homie atmosphere that provides entertainment, food, and comfort. Property kept in excellent condition. But the best part was it staff.! Tony, Edward, Edith, Rita, Jennifer and the boss Manuel were all attentive, jovial and very professional. This was the second time I stayed in his property in a period of 90 days. If I am blessed to have to return to Mountain View California one more time I will stay here again.

Great Hotel
Pros:

The hotel was clean and had an inviting atmosphere. Great location for shows at the amphitheater All staff were super friendly and personable especially Tony. We forgot some small items and when I called back Tony worked hard to get me my stuff back within the week.

Pros:

The place, the room is clean and spacious. Heated pool is perfect for kids. Breakfast is so-so.

Cons:

The staff! They are not accommodating. Once they encounter an issue, they will stop and not find solutions. I got my reservation with breakfast included and they said it doesn’t show in their system. So their system is outdated. I have to contact booking.com a night before and the next thing in the morning just to fix the breakfast issue. Tony in the front desk is not helpful and rude as well. Not good customer service. The lady that we checked in the also was rude, even when I showed her the proof that I paid for the breakfast, she keeps saying it doesn’t show in their system, she did not find a solution after that. She just gave me the room key and full stop. Aloft should hire people who knows customer service and not those rude staff that just come to work and clock out. The place is good, but the staff is 🤬

Clean and comfortable room with nice amenities. Convenient location for a one-night stay.
Pros:

Clean and comfortable room with large bed and high quality television. Shower was very nice with good water pressure. We also enjoyed the complimentary coffee at the breakfast bar.

Cons:

We didn't purchase the breakfast but it seemed expensive for this type of hotel. Wish the parking was free but we knew about the fee when we booked.

The rooms are large, modern, well furnished, and comfortable.

Cons:

They are set up for a single business traveler (one desk and chair; a single club chair). That was fine for me because I was alone but if I was traveling with my spouse (king size bed), it would have been annoying.

We had a fabulous stay. The double king room was spacious and comfortable for 4 women. We had some time to relax at the

Loved the spacious ground floor with lots of windows and high ceilings. The room with 2 king beds had plenty of space for 4 women. The shower was the best with immediate hot water! We also spent time at the pool and had it all to ourselves. We were in town for a concert at Stanford stadium and the bus stop was right in front of the hotel. That was perfect. A fabulous stay.

Cons:

We needed more hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. It would have been helpful to have three luggage racks. There was plenty of wall space but the hotel didn’t have extra racks.

-Hotel rooms are not cleaned every other day, and towels were not changed daily.
-They also run a scam, and small ghost charges will appear on your credit card after check out, Recommend freezing the credit card directly after check out and settling your bill.

Good amenities, poor service
Pros:

Had to change rooms twice due to non-functioning refrigerators, with no staff support throughout:

- First room: staff took 30 minutes to respond after I reported the broken refrigerator. I'd already unpacked and had to repack.

- Second room: I had to lug all my belongings down to reception to collect the key. They also didn't verify the refrigerator worked before assigning the room — it didn't.

- Third room: when I returned to reception for the 3rd room, staff refused to check the refrigerator beforehand on the 3rd room. Told me come down again for a 4th room if needed. Luckily 3rd time was the charm.

Throughout all of this, I was carrying my luggage everywhere.
