Enjoyed arrival with check in and welding lobby and reception staff
I stayed here for a one-night stop on my drive west. Online, this place looks great and it was priced well. And it may be great in peak season, but I went in the shoulder, in mid-September. I think they were down to minimal staff. When I checked in, there was a younger man at the front desk who seemed bothered that he was interrupted from whatever he was doing in the back. Not very friendly; very short with answers. But after driving all day, I was ready to rest. My impression was they laid off the housekeepers for the season. The floor was unclean; the surface areas of the room were dusty. There was hair on the floor and the bed comforter; they obviously only washed the sheets and not the comforter, which it's pretty standard to wash the top bedding layer now. The walls were VERY thin - so thin I could clearly hear the phone conversations and TV in the room next to me. No coffee in room. I had to wander out in the morning to find it in the lobby (wasn't told at check-in.) While it was nice to have a "continental" breakfast, the same guy from the check-in (who must live there?) came out at 6am and put a bunch of grocery store-bought plastic containers filled with donuts on the counter. Not a lot of thought or care; he again seemed annoyed to be there. This place was average, although it seemed like it could easily be better with friendly, professional service, CLEAN rooms and soundproofing.
Beds were comfortable and the room was clean.
This hotel was very comfortable and quiet. The staff were very accommodating as well. E we enjoyed our stay for two nights.
This was a good place to stay for going to Yellowstone National Park. The staff was friendly. Rooms were clean.
Great
Clean. Comfortable bed. Pleasant staff/check-in. Will stay again.
Staffs were very friendly and welcoming.
Everything was good. Safe, clean, and not expensive. We recommend it. Thanks.
Room was clean. Staff was very friendly.
Easy parking, checking, checkout, continental breakfast
A very nice and friendly place to stay; we’ve spent two nights here while visiting Yellowstone and the area in general. Recommend with great pleasure!
Good place to lay your head for the price…
Very hard to find at night
Room was really nice, housekeeping was good. Breakfast was seriously limited with only donuts and muffins. Atleast having bread/waffle would've been nice since there aren't many places closeby
It was a nice place.
I really enjoyed my stay here. Nice, comfortable place with outstanding service
Outside of the bed being broke this isn’t a bad place to stay. However the reason I have my rating wasn’t just that. On the website it says they are close to Yellowstone and Grand Teton. In fact 30 miles close. This maybe as the crow flies but in reality they are 2 hours from each location. I wouldn’t have booked the place had I known how far they were. I trusted their website and the information provided. If you’re just visiting Ashton or need to be in the area this is great. If you’re wanting to visit the national parks stay far away from this place unless you want a 4-5 hour commute each day. I would have happily spent more on a closer location!
Rooms are OK, bed made some creaking noise.
