Excellent stay and would reserve a stay at Baymont Asheville again
Pros:

Room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent. We only stayed over night, but our stay was pleasant and we would stay at Baymont in Asheville again.

Cons:

The seating for breakfast area was a bit crowded. It was a holiday weekend, so larger crowds were to be expected.

Pros:

The variety and quality of the breakfast was amazing. Some of the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had.

The staff said hi to you when they saw you and were all very helpful.

Very pleasant hotel
Pros:

Delightful staff, very nice breakfast, and great location. We appreciated the free parking and walkability to some staples (Starbucks, Texas Roadhouse).

Cons:

Despite using the AC and the fan in the bathroom, the room felt very damp. After using the hotel pool, our bathing suits were still wet the next day.

Worst booking I have ever made!

We did not feel safe and actually left the property. There were 2 groups of men "tailgating" and partying in the parking lot. They were taking up extra parking spaces and grilling. There were a shortage of spaces in the lot already. They were in and out of the hotel and were very obviously stoned and drunk. They swayed and leaned into us on the elevators and in small hallway downstairs. They made my daughter and I feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. We left and did not even stay. The hotel desk employee couldn't NOT see all their behavior. He chose to do nothing.

On top of all this -the room was not as expected. It was gross and run down. It did not look like the pictures at all!!! There were rips in the filthy carpet and the bathroom floor was sticky. The adjustments made to make the room accessible were odd. You run into hangers in the makeshift closet when opening the door for the room.
