Staff and breakfast were very good! The hotel is over priced needs a major remodel!
Pros:

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good.

Cons:

I have stayed here over ten years ago and nothing has changed. The furnishings are very worn and the place is very dated. The parking lot was difficult to travel and the large pot holes could take out a tire.

The bed

Cons:

The fact that I couldn't even watch TV as the service was canceled because they were switching. As a hotel you should have it switched and set up before canceling other service. The pool and spa were out of order.

Average price, below average stay
Pros:

Staff was friendly and helpful. Our first room had an issue with the smoke detector continuously beeping. We were given a new room after it couldn’t be fixed with new batteries.

Cons:

Pool was closed and little effort was being made to open it back up. The facility was overall dirty and dusty. Scuffs on the walls and dirt on the floor in the hallways. They dry walled over the glass bricks in the walls but only on one side. So you get a lovely view of the wood and drywall on the other side.

Horrendous facility
Pros:

The woman who prepared the breakfast both mornings was friendly and made sure it was fully replenished when it needed to be.

Cons:

The hotel is badly in need of maintenance.
There was a mouse trap with a dead mouse in the breakfast area.
There was peeling/ripped wallpaper hanging off in multiple places in the hallways.
There was paint peeling on the vents in the pool area.
The hot tub jet button was broke/missing and didn't work. When inquiring about it was told by front desk employee "it's been busted for over two months"
The shower in the pool area was not usuable for the same reason as the hot tub therefore you could not shower before enter or exiting the pool area.
Furniture in the lobby was soiled/dirty you didn't want to sit in it
One entire section of rooms reeked of weed.
I emailed the corporate office pictures of these items was told to contact the manager. I emailed the manager of the hotel the same pictures as well and was never contacted by anyone.
Would definitely not recommend staying in this hotel. If I could have given a negative star I would have.

La Quinta is a trusted brand that has consistently met my need.
Pros:

We picked the hotel due to the location and free breakfast. Excellent eggs on the breakfast buffet.

Cons:

Easy to see the rooms have been updated. The pool area has not.
