Poorly maintained room, but the bed was very comfortable!
Pros:

Staff was very friendly. Location convenient for our purposes. Bed very comfortable.

Cons:

Room 102: Carpet was filthy. Light fixture over table covered in thick dust. Mold on shower curtain.

Amazing staff, comfortable rooms.
Pros:

The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was great with many options. It would be perfect for a longer stay.

Cons:

It didn't seem as though the bathrooms were cleaned properly. The doors did not close possibly die to swelling. That was very unfortunate.

We will stay here again. We visit the area often.
Pros:

Very clean and very quiet. We have 2 babies and no loud noises at night to wake them.

My room was FILTHY. Trash was left from last stay as well. They wouldn’t refund me— i left after paying almost $200 to stay.

Great location, would stay again but not under the stairwell.
Pros:

Breakfast was good, Staff here is extremely friendly, location is very nice up on the hill.

Cons:

Coffee maker in room did not work. When i made my reservation i was up-front about bringing my one -car trailer and would it be of concern to park it. I was replied to that it was no problem and staff would direct me a spot to accommodate. At check-in it was a different deal, i was asked if i could park my truck & car trailer on an adjacently owned property that i could not locate or park up on the grass. I ended up parking on the grass but had to climb a healthy curb. Our room was also located under the Stairwell and the folks going up & down was pretty loud in our room.

Pros:

The staff was helpful and friendly and its location was very convenient . The pool was enjoyable as well. There is also plenty of parking and this location was very quiet.

Cons:

Our room was very dusty as if it was cleaned but sat for a long while . The smell of weed was strong through the hallways that eventually made its way into the room.
Only certain channels worked on the TV and I could not get the stove hot enough to boil a pot of water.

Very nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff
Pros:

The employees were extremely nice! I travel often and I’m not sure I have ever encountered such nice staff….maybe 1 or 2 of them, but never every single one, from the front counter staff to the employees doing breakfast.

Cons:

I booked the room with a couch bed for my daughter. When we pulled out the bed, the mattress was filthy. It had stains all over it-one looking like a large blood stain that had been scrubbed but clearly still there. My daughter ended up just sleeping on the couch which cleanliness was also questionable.

Will very seriously consider staying here again if we get back to Charleston.
Pros:

Very large rooms.
We were upgraded to a two bedroom suite which worked out well because our son and his wife met us there. Because each bedroom had it own bathroom, we asked that their room be cancelled and we all just stay in our room. Staff graciously agreed. So, instead of paying for 2 rooms we paid for one at no additional cost to us.
Very nice kitchen area with full appliances. Ice maker in the fridge worked very well.
Free breakfast was outstanding. Good variety of food and what was supposed to be hot (eggs, bacon, etc....) was hot. I loved the automatic pancake maker.

Cons:

TV in living room area did not work very well. We could get very few channels (sometimes none at all) because it kept saying 'signal lost'.
Telephone in our bedroom was dead.
