No elevator
Location was good. Room was good.
Still had previous guest belongings in closet and privacy was lacking. Breakfast was just ok.
The management lied about returning your deposit after the stay when there was no reason to keep the deposit, will never stay there again,
Great location. Hallways, entryway, and common areas were clean. Small, but hot breakfast
The beds were not comfortable. The room was not as clean as it should be, mostly the floor in the bedroom. Bathroom was clean. The a/c unit wasn't fully attached and required a lower temperature setting to be comfortable
Breakfast was better than some of the other places in the same price range

This is a well-done budget hotel.
* The rooms are clean and in good shape (e.g., no cracked or moldy tile).
* Breakfast is above average as compared to other hotels in this category. They didn't have waffles or yogurt; but, they did have eggs and sausage. (Other hotels in this category just have cereal and pre-packaged pastries.)
* We especially appreciated the friendly staff (both in the evening and the following morning).
There was only one thing we would like to see improved:
* The beds were not nearly as comfortable as those at a mid-tier hotel. That wasn't a problem for our one-night stopover, but could be an issue if were were staying for several days.
Overall, we were satisfied and would use this hotel for a one-night stopover when driving south -- for the right price.
(I say "for the right price", because even though the hotel was clean and friendly, it was a bit pricy for what you get. In our opinion, it's not quite enough cheaper than the nearby mid-tier hotels to justify the difference in quality. To be fair, the taxes are part of the problem: The hotel's sticker price felt like a good value, But once you added 15% in taxes, it feels like we overpaid a little.)
