will not be back, the breakfast was the only thing we like.
Pros:

easy access to the hwy.

Cons:

The room smelled like wet dogs, dog hair on the bed and coach. the hallway smelled like dog piss. the hwy view was block by a box truck all weekend. A coupl let the dog get in the pool, Dog also pooped in the pool area when reported to a staff member nothing was done.

My experience is always good inspite of that situation
Pros:

The room had been half cleaned a pile of trash was on the floor maybe the vaccum had got overfull or something the desk chair was over it and the dresser & tv had trash and dust on it. The front desk clerk was so shocked & upset she apologized so many times gave me another room & discount. That was my only bad experience and she quickly corrected it and I was satisfied newchousekeeper but overall im never disappointed with Wingate! I love their staff…. They will make any corrections to make your stay better

Just that one situation. It was quickly resolved

I enjoyed my stay. Staff friendly and professional. Room was clean. Bed us comfy. Love the pillows.
Pros:

Breakfast was so so. I would have liked some fresh fruit options other than bananas.

Cons:

TV remote too difficult. Anytime you have a full page of printed instructions on how to work the tv remote then it's too difficult! Zero out of 10 on the TV remote situation.

Okay stay, was better at my previous stay.
Pros:

The location was excellent. Very close to everything. I love that the wifi was strong and they have full cable, lots and lots of channels. Also the cocktail hour was nice. Check in was very easy with the online check in.

Cons:

I've stayed here in the past. Same room style just without the balcony. The room i stayed in this time seemed smaller. I will go for the one without the balcony next time. It was also downstairs pool side balcony which got very load with all the activities around the pool. (To be expected with it being summer, my fault I didn't think about that.) The ac wasn't cooling properly, even though it said it was 72 in the room it felt much hotter. I was also told that there were no king rooms on the 2nd floor with a balcony, when I inquired about possibly moving, Don't know if he meant at all or just available.

It will do in a pinch but cleanliness is the most important feature for me and this wasn’t great.
Pros:

Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was nice.

Cons:

Property and room was not very clean. Room was beside noisy interstate.

Disappointing
Pros:

We had a terrible experience at this hotel. We were in a room with a really old balcony that was dirty and the sliding door to it was broken. It overlooked the pool which had screaming and yelling people until the wee hours of the morning. There were also people yelling in the hallway until very late. The bathroom was very old and had lots of stains in the tub area. Yucky. Very disappointed in a Wyndham.

My Stay
Pros:

It's a older Hotel that needs to be remodeled. The pool wasn't to clean to my liking for me to get in it. The hot tube wasn't working at the time of my stay.

Pros:

Great customer service at Check in. The staff was very accommodating to get me in a room that was not pet friendly since I did not realize the hotel was pet friendly

Breakfast and Pool area was good.

Cons:

Room was facing a major highway ramp. Continuous loud traffic noise, could not sleep. Front desk is aware that the room is noisy, but rents it out anyway.

Was expecting a higher quality hotel from reviews.
Pros:

Staff was very friendly and very helpful. (We struggled with our remote and front office came to us to get us on track. ) Breakfast was good.

Cons:

A very tired hotel. You could tell the hotel had gone through (or is currently going through ) a refresh but things were missed. Dings in furniture. I saw a dead cockroach in the hallway in the morning. (Never saw one in my room). At times equipment was left out ( obviously someone had been called to do something else). I was a little surprised bc this was one of the top rated hotels in valdosta according to reviews. I guess I expected a little more.
