Stylish & confortable manor house
Pros:

Very modern and stylish hotel inside an old stately home. The staff were welcoming and accommodating, especially considering we ended up arriving at 1AM due to delays at the Eurotunnel.
The rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served both inside and out in the courtyard, with gluten free options on request. Serving staff were very friendly and helpful.
The car park was tiny but the staff managed to create a space for us. There is EV charging available (we didn't use it).
The house had a beautiful garden but we didn't have time to spend in it.

Cons:

The floors were creaky, but that is to be expected in an old house. It was a bit expensive but perfect for a one-night stay (or a weekend).

Fietsende reizigers: ga hier overnachten!
Pros:

Wij reizen per fiets en die konden zo een conferentiezaal in om daar gestalt te worden. Verder zeer professioneel personeel in de bijbehorende brasserie. Chapeau voor het personeel. Je voelt de professionalteit in alles.

Pros:

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und immer höflich. Die Zimmer waren sauber und die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Hotel war ruhig gelegen.

Cons:

Es war alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit.

Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels, mit angrenzendem Park war sehr schön. Bei den hochsommerlichen Temperaturen war die Klimaanlage wunderbar.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war für einen Preis von 25.- € überschaubar. Da gibt es Verbesserungspotential.

Fahrradtour von Witten nach Beauvais
Pros:

Wir waren mit einer Fahrradgruppe unterwegs.
Platz für Fahrräder und Minibus vorhanden.
Das alte Gebäude ist schön restauriert.
Im Hause gab es ein Restaurant, auch mit überdachtem Außenbereich.

Cons:

Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis im Restaurant passte nicht so ganz.
Den Bedienenden fehlte es ein wenig an Einfühlungsvermögen zu den Gästen.
