Hidden Gem
Pros:

When we arrived, we were a little concerned about the exterior and locality but once inside we had no worries at all. The locality is just off a main street near the Opera but safe, I should add. Easily located for the metro, buses, ubers (a plenty)

The staff were super friendly and helpful.

The room was very very spacious with open plan 'living'. The bathroom area was divided from the main room by a curtain and the shower unit/toilet glass cubicles within. A desk and table to use and armchairs too which was a nice touch. Pleasantly decorated and the bed very comfortable

The pool area was wonderful. Nice for an early morning swim or a rest/break after a a day walking around Budapest. Pleasant outside roof patio where you can enjoy drinks and have a wonderful view of Gellert Hill. The barman was great - worked really hard and was kept busy.

Cons:

Nothing to do with the hotel itself but the temperature in the pool, if sitting there for drinks only in the bar area was a little too warm. NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: I especially felt sorry for the barman - a young guy - he was sweltering. Need a form of air-conditioning for the staff who were fully clothed, unlike the bathers who need some warmth. Dread to think what it is like in the heat of the summer with so much glass, although I did note some of the windows were sliders and could open to enjoy some fresh air. Maybe a fan behind the bar for the barman!

Highly recommend this little gem of a hotel.
Pros:

All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The location was very good. The hotel itself was very clean and tidy. The junior suite we stayed in was lively apart from one or two issues( see below)
Communication with the hotel prior to our stay was also excellent.

Cons:

The lighting in our junior suite was very poor. Better lighting would be beneficial.
The hairdryer kept cutting out and only worked on the lowest speed and lowest heat setting. If you try to turn it up to next setting it would cut out and not work again for 5 minutes.

Great Little Hotel, Perfect Location, Lovely Breakfast and friendly staff!
Pros:

Lovely Staff, clean and tidy and with a GREAT breakfast in the morning. Mini fridge in the room, roof top pool and bar was great. Location was perfect for me to walk around and explore Budapest after my meetings. Great value for money and very quirky hotel. Bed was comfy, pillows great all round a lovely little find.

Cons:

The heating was on in my room and the AC just wouldnt fire up so i had to leave the window open, but i think this is a thing in Europe at the moment with AC. Not the end of the world but i like a nice cool room to get the optimal sleep.

Lovely Boutique Hotel - Would Stay Again.
Pros:

Breakfast outstanding. Make to order omelets. Entire breakfast spread wonderful. My wife loves salads and the Cortile had very good options. Rooms are definitely soundproof and we always had hot water.

Cons:

Hard to shave poor lighting. Ditto shower no lights.

Cons:

False fire alarm at 6.30am on our first morning, air con didn't work very well. Bathroom is a glass pod behind a curtain, we've been married for a long time so no issues but newer couples may find this a little disconcerting!
