Best Western Luxbury Inn Fort Wayne

There is construction happening around the hotel, but that is not the hotels fault.

Room was dirty! Toilet paper was almost empty! There was a distinct smell!Bathroom light not working properly!Electric outlet on desk not working to charge phones!Parking fee on our bill and we were dropped off by uber!

Breakfast was basic

The bed that was closest to the window in room 130 had part of the frame busted so had to be very careful when sitting down on it otherwise the corner of the bed would fall down when brought to the attention of the front was just told to be careful no offer to be given a different room

L'odore di chiuso ci ha dato fastidio. Ho notato, specialmente in bagno, punti dove la pittura era stato fatto con poca cura, e vedere tutte le sbavature era un dispiacere, visto che il resto era in ordine e pulito. Ci vorrebbe poco sforzo per sistemarlo e migliorare l'impatto visuale.

Hotel is ready for upgrade and repairs i.e. broken tiles, loose shower fixtures, etc.

The first floor smells like cigarette smoke, it was the entire hallway. The first room I was put in had no soap, had not been vacuumed, the linens were dirty, the shower had a significant leak which made, lots of noise, the shower was dirty, there was gum stuck to the shower rod and curtain. The floor was sticky and had food around the bed and there was almost no toilet paper in the bathroom.

The second room I was put in was better, but not by much. The comforter had what looked to me like makeup/foundation stains, the floor had not been cleaned or vacuumed, there was popcorn on the floor around the bed and in and around the couch. The sheets on the couch had popcorn, popcorn oil, and something else on there. The night stand on the window side of the room has a mysterious clear white stain all over the side of it which could be anything from ice cream to things I don’t want to think about.

All of the diet bottle sodas in the pantry were expired. We let the staff know and were told they were replaced. When we went back to the pantry the next day all of diet bottled sodas were still expired. We got a regular side out of the vending machine on the first floor and that was also expired.

This hotel was filthy and I’m really disappointed in my stay. I only stayed as long as I did, because I’d already paid for everything and didn’t want to deal with packing everything up and going across the street as I’m visiting my father at Lutheran hospital who is dying of cancer.

The pros of staying here, and they aren’t much, is the location. It is right next to I-69 and makes navigating the city easy. The next would be the breakfast. There is a decent selection of items each day. Depending on who is making the food in the morning sometimes the potatoes are really good and crispy, but most of the time they can be soft but undercooked. There are different breads to choose from, a waffle station, pastries, cereal, yogurt, apples and bananas (most mornings).
