The whole place needs to be renovated and cleaned and painted
Good location, obliging and friendly staff, great food
Not immediately obvious how to get into the property. Had to walk almost the whole way around the (large) building from the car park, passing two entrances that were locked, before finally finding a third that was open, leading directly into the public bar
Clean comfortable room, comfy bed, decent en suite with a good shower.
Staff were very friendly.
Several vegan meal choices and vegan breakfast available.
Newish bar and restaurant area was pleasant and a very nice garden.
Massive car park.
Hotel location was great for getting around the island.
Very good value for money.
Obviously the place caters for families but I’m not a fan of kids being allowed to wander and run around bar/restaurants unsupervised. That’s down to their parents though, kids will be kids and I don’t blame them. Just my own view that kids in public bars should be supervised and if they want to run around should be in the well appointed garden and play area, especially when the weather is as nice as it was.
Good location.
Hotel was "tired"
The cleaning staff were very nice, some of the staff on the bar were ok
It was very noisy with people coming in at night 12.35 one night ,and going at very early times 5.30 . The manager was terrible didn’t listen , and I asked to change room but he wouldn’t , the food was cooked well, but very bland and the coffee and yogurts were awful. The rooms need an update. We left 3 new days before we should of , because it was so noisy, I don’t know why the manager couldn’t put the people going on the ferries in a different section to people staying longer we booked and paid for 8 nights for the holiday last December it’s not organised properly. I wouldn’t stay there again if it was free!
Staff were friendly, food great & perfect location for us. The young guy serving breakfast needs a special thank you for going out in the rain to get some alternative milk for my wife.
Hotel a bit run down. The taps in our bathroom were difficult to turn off.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Evening meal and breakfast were excellent quality.
Good location for us as we were catching the morning ferry.
Very good value for money.
As we are not as mobile as we used to be the stairs were a bit of a challenge but it would not stop us returning.
The hotel's location was perfect for our needs. A group of 12 of us travelled from Yorkshire to tackle a cycling tour around Anglesey, so having a convenient base was a huge plus. There was a small mix-up with one of the rooms on arrival, but Luke, the duty manager, came to the rescue and sorted everything out quickly and professionally. Every cycling team needs a reliable support rider, and on this occasion, Luke filled that role perfectly! 🚴♂️👏

I was driving through to Holyhead and The Valley was in a great position just 12 mins away.
The room was comfortable with everything you could need. In particular a well stocked tea and coffee setup.
