The building of a tower next door
Location and quality of the apartment were great. The host was very responsive.
Two of the 3 lifts were out of order for 2 days while we were there. 1 was out of order for the whole time. This resulted in long wait times...twice over 30 minutes just to get from ground to 19. Stairs were hardly an option at that height.
The dish washer was also out of order for the whole time we were there. A electrician was sent but it still did not work.
Kitchen lacked some basics like sharp knives and a strainer.
Location
Pool
The instructions for the carpark were. A little confusing as the scanner for the fob is on opposite tricky spot for driver to access.
A little maintenance needed in unit
Spa was cold on days that you needed it warmer
Location and the view of the city.
The apartment was fine
The location is appalling. No food no shops, no restaurants. Nothing. Just getting into the place was a nightmare and the phone staff were very rude and unhelpful.
the location to everything was very good
Wish more towels and towels for the pool.
Proximity to event attending.
Main bathroom stunk. Blocked pipes!
Location, view, cleanliness
Air conditioning was not working properly- cooler in other rooms and warmer in the bedroom
Great position. Friendly staff.
The location was great for what we wanted and the apartment was clean and fresh.
That we couldn't get into the car parking spot until 3pm.
The location was excellent as we could easily walk to the South Brisbane Train Station to get to Roma Street, which is the reason for our stay in Brisbane. The nearby Eating places was great also. The view from the 28th Floor was superb.
The fact that there was only one bowl in the unit and two of every thing else, as we did our own breakfast.
The shower leaked water all over the floor when you used it, thus the bath mat was soaked through, so had to dry it out to use again as there was no daily service. You were expected to wash up everything and leave neat and tidy and remove all rubbish but you still got charged a cleaning fee of $145 in your booking. Then on top of that we were asked for a $300 Deposit the day before we go in, even though there was not mention of it earlier, a little rude I think. We were warned not to use the Reception desk or we would be charged $100 re key.
Location Was Great
Staff Were Rude, Not Clean, Building Issues, Refund Problems, Not Worth Money, Hair and Mould throughout the apartment.
Everything was good the bed was big and comfy. There’s no bad smell in the room.
when I’m about to used the utensils it was dirty. The iron was burned and iron board was dirty. There was clothes left in the closet which was not mine. No tongs, and there’s no good size of pot to use for pasta, no colander. The remote control was so difficult to use.
The location and view
That your keys were kept in bike lock type things, the shower drain did not work very well and the shower door did not close, meaning majority of the water went onto the bathroom floor. Also Tv was broken as it had a green line through it.
The beds were comfy and the location is great.
The room we had booked was not good. We had 4 people staying in the two bedroom apartment and we were all very disappointed in our room.
The elevator area for the floor consistently smelt like vomit. Any time spent in the room we had to have the aircon on due to the overwhelming smell of wet mould. Tv was cheap and not a smart tv. It was very outdated and couldn’t connect to any kind of apps. Floorboards had been installed incorrectly, over the top of carpet and tiles. When you walk over the tiled part where nothing had been put between the tile and the floorboard it was very loud and would disturb anyone in the nearby bedroom.
The smart panel controlling the aircon and curtains didn’t work and was falling off the wall. Which meant we only had one aircon setting during our 4 day stay and it needed to be on to mask the wet mould smell. This meant we also couldn’t close any curtains.
Not to mention the privacy issues with the bedroom closest to the kitchen/lounge and the bathroom across from it. The doors to these rooms are installed on an angle and do not close properly. For privacy reasons you would have to hold onto the toilet door if anyone would walk past because it wouldn’t close properly. Being two lots of couples staying this was very very awkward not having any privacy in these two rooms due to the doors not closing properly.
There was an additional cleaning fee which was increased just before our stay, I am uncertain why this cleaning fee is required considering a lot of the cleaning has to be done as per owners instructions before you check out.
This apartment felt outdated and like a rush job by the owners with no care for the people actually staying there.
We have stayed at this location before in a one bedroom apartment (owned by different owners)and had an amazing time. I would recommend that room over this awful 2 bedroom apartment.
