Location was great, only a couple of min by car into town. It felt quite private even though it was part of an apartment complex. The apartment was newly renovated which shows. The whole place was super cosy and the bathroom was clean and modern. Definitely recommended :)

Clean, great location close to restaurants and shops.
Good size for a one bedroom apartment. The pool was great for the kids, a decent size and well heated. Well appointed kitchen and laundry facilities in the room.

The bed is so uncomfortable you can feel the springs, we had to sleep on the couch the bed was so bad it really lets the property down
The space. The fact it had washing facilities. Great size bed.
Carpark
Most of the kitchen items were not clean. Especially the microwave.
When we booked it said it was 400m to centre. It was more like 1km. Long distance to walk especially later at night when it was dark and raining.

Booking.com gave us the wrong room details. When we opened the key lock it was empty. Then someone was in our room. The number we were given to call said call back in the morning!!! Not ideal. Managed to track down someone in a different apartment block who told us our room was next door. Not ideal after a long journey.
Double glazing would be good. Make it more fuel efficient.
Aircon didn’t reach the bedroom with the shutters open. Would be better sited on wall above the sofa.
The unit did NOT have water when we arrived because of the Jasper cyclone, and Booking.com/ unit manager did not inform us. The managing staff simply told us it is not our responsibility as you booked with Booking.com. Funnily, he told us to use the bucket and get pool water for our bathroom uses. After a couple of hours of chatting and negotiations with Booking.com and the unit manager, they deducted two days and refunded the rest, which was not fair. We called the unit manager as soon as we reached there and found that there was no water. They almost ruined two days of our holiday!
It was quiet and situated within walking distance of everything. Nice pool and well equipped
I know it sounds silly but the water was so incredibly hot!!!

The location was good, only a short walk to 4 mile beach but a bit further to the flagged area. It was also a reasonable walk to Macrossin Street. The layout of the apartment is good with the kitchen area facing the lounger and a separate bedroom. The laundry with washing machine and dryer was also good. The kitchen was also well stocked with a few extra food items. The balcony was also nice with a view of the garden.
Unfortunately when we were there the weather was cool at night and as the pool is completely shaded the water was too cold for swimming. On the day we arrived the water was heated but after that the heating was turned off. Although the apartment does not face Davidson Street, the noise from traffic into and out of Macrossin Street was audible, especially when sitting on the balcony. The bed was on the firm side.
The apartment was very comfortable and perfect for a couple. The pool was wonderful and walk distance to the main shopping strip.
