Nice, pleasant stay when visiting Cal
Pros:

Staff was very pleasant and accommodating to our requests. Our daughter’s graduation week was so much more enjoyable because we had a place to stay that was close to Cal

Great stay at a great hotel!
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved the period character of the hotel. Rooms was comfortable and well appointed. We were visiting our daughter who is at UC Berkley so very convenient!

Cons:

I did use the gym but it could do with a refresh!

Pros:

It's a great location. The historic facade and parts of its interior still have their charm.

Cons:

1) The hotel refuses to issue an invoice.
2) There were no toiletries (apart from shampoo and soap).
3) Gym is a joke.
4) The quality/price ratio of breakfast was subpar.

Pros:

Great location, friendly and quick service. Quiet if you don't open windows.

Cons:

Very small bathroom. The bathroom sliding door is designed in a way that you can't close it properly, quite inconvenient. No drinking water in the room of a 4-star hotel, disappointing.
