Great stay, convenient, clean. Everything worked.
Pros:

Staff was great, real pros. When you mention something is wrong, for example the room safe could not be used due to previous guest locking it, I noticed they took notes and it was fixed while we were away.

Cons:

Bed had a low spot. Road side room was a bit noisy if there was a large truck going by, but manageable.

Great place to stay and relax in a busy city
Pros:

This hotel was the prefect location for us. The room was beautiful. I slept so well here. Tamar at the front desk was super helpful and a joy to talk to each day. We had everything we needed and more. We will be back for sure.

Amazing location, top-notch service
Pros:

This is the second time I’ve stayed at the Shattuck, and it was a great stay once again. The hotel is in the perfect location, within walking distance of everything (restaurants, theater, shops, university) Berkeley has to offer, yet the lobby is peaceful and my room was quiet. Walk out the front door, stroll around the corner, and you are at the Downtown Berkeley BART station, for easy transportation to Oakland, San Francisco, and the airport (SFO).

On top of the location, the Shattuck offers wonderful service. The staff members are all warm and welcoming. Special thanks to Tony at the front desk, for accommodating my early arrival and slotting me into a room with a lovely view of the town.

I look forward to returning to the Shattuck the next time I’m in town.
