We have no parking on site. Nearby parking is available at St James Quarter car park (postcode EH1 3BP), who offer our guests a discounted daily rate of £17 for 24h. Simply collect you parking ticket on entry, but please ensure to also collect your discount ticket from reception upon departure. Alternatively on street parking is available (restrictions and pricing vary).

When traveling with a dog, please note that an extra charge of £25 for 1 dog or £40 for maximum 2 dogs, per night applies. Dogs are allowed in designated guest rooms-please notify the hotel in advance.

The Breakfast inclusive rates include a Full-cooked breakfast and Dinner inclusive rates includes 2 courses from our Seasonal A’ la Carte menu and a side dish. Supplements apply to certain items. Inclusions only apply for adults. Children’s Breakfast is not included in the advertised rates and the charges are as follows directly to the hotel: 0-4 years old – Breakfast Complimentary/5- 11 years old – Breakfast charged at 50% full price/ 12 and over breakfast charged at full adult price. Good value for money, quiet and central
Pros:

It was central, quiet (couldn't hear any noise from neighbours or street). I was on the highest floor facing the inside court, that must have helped. They have a bar on the ground floor.

Cons:

Nothing was bad, everything was perfect

Enjoyed our stay. Would perhaps try another Malmaison at a different location.
Pros:

Reception team were superb and helpful. Great, quirky decor - love it or hate it style! Comfy bed. Asked for a quiet room, and we got one. The absolute super star at the hotel was the Bar Manager (long pony tail), skilled, knowledgeable and great banter.

Cons:

No bar meals being served on the first night. No beer on tap either night. One third of the menu not available in the main restaurant either night and no specials for the week either. (Sounds like someone forgot to pay the bills!!!)

Breakfast was delicious
Great value for money at that time of year.
There was an issue with the room on the first night and the lady on reception sorted this straight away, customer service was excellent.

Cons:

Room is dimly lit and a little dark.

The room was very hot & stuffy, even though I turned it down .

Ich würde jederzeit wieder übernachten.
Pros:

Das Hotel lag für unsere Zwecke optimal. Wir sind mit dem Bus aus Glasgow (Waverly Busstation) angereist und mit dem Airlink Bus ab Waverly Bridge zum Flughafen gefahren. Die Entfernung von und zu den Haltestellen konnten wir sehr gut zu Fuß gehen. Rund um das Hotel gibt es viele Restaurants, Pubs und Cafés. Für den Verzicht auf die Zimmerreinigung nach der ersten Nacht wurde uns ein Voucher für die Bar ausgehändigt. Das ganze Hotel ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Auch wenn das Hotel zentral liegt, ist es nicht laut.

Cons:

Das Fenster im Zimmer kann nicht geöffnet werden. Die Treppe zum 7. Stockwerk hin (9 Stufen) hat keine Alternative und man muss die Koffer tragen.
Wir sind in der Nacht abgereist und haben die Zimmerkarten im Zimmer gelassen. Dadurch konnten wir die Zwischentür zum Aufzug nicht öffnen und mussten die Koffer runtertragen.

Perfect hotel in a great location!
Pros:

The check in experience was very good and slick. The decor generally was great and the room perfect. The location was ideal to explore the city and only a 10 minute walk from the station.
