We have no parking on site. Nearby parking is available at St James Quarter car park (postcode EH1 3BP), who offer our guests a discounted daily rate of £17 for 24h. Simply collect you parking ticket on entry, but please ensure to also collect your discount ticket from reception upon departure. Alternatively on street parking is available (restrictions and pricing vary).
When traveling with a dog, please note that an extra charge of £25 for 1 dog or £40 for maximum 2 dogs, per night applies. Dogs are allowed in designated guest rooms-please notify the hotel in advance.
The Breakfast inclusive rates include a Full-cooked breakfast and Dinner inclusive rates includes 2 courses from our Seasonal A’ la Carte menu and a side dish. Supplements apply to certain items. Inclusions only apply for adults. Children’s Breakfast is not included in the advertised rates and the charges are as follows directly to the hotel: 0-4 years old – Breakfast Complimentary/5- 11 years old – Breakfast charged at 50% full price/ 12 and over breakfast charged at full adult price. Kids Dinner Menu also available.

The property is in a fantastic position very close to the tram which made it a super place to base myself in Edinburgh.
The property is immersed in darkness. It was difficult to see anything because it was so gloomy in there. There is no central light in the bedroom or bathroom and people were using their phone torches to read the menu. I’ve never experienced a hotel so poorly lit in my life. I would love to return if this situation is resolved.

The size of the room. Having robes and slippers.
The receptionist was on a call to another customer when I arrived so I had to wait a few minutes before I could check in. It would have been nice if she had at least acknowledged my presence while I was standing waiting.

Snídaně byla vynikající - my ji měli už v ceně hotelu. Hotel je v centru. Pokoj byl prostorný, velmi pohodlná postel, velká TV, velká koupelna. Velmi příjemný personál. Velmi příjemná zkušenost.
V hotelu jsme byli na 1 noc a bohužel to vyšlo na sobotu, kdy byla v hotelovém baru oslava. Ale příliš nás hlasitá hudba a zpět nerušili, takže vše ok.

I had no problem with the property.
Quiet, comfortable,clean and really central. Excellent friendly staff and absolutely delicious food in the restaurant. I brought my dog and the ‘dog package’ was above and beyond. Arrived in the room to find a dog bed, two bowls, and even a goodie bag with ball, treats, poo bags and a spoon for dog food. Just brilliant.

Located perfectly on St Andrews square.
Room very dated, most lights and switches didn’t work even in the club room. The staff understaffed at the bar (1 person) so slow and was served mayonnaise with fruit instead of yogurt for breakfast. Faulty towers experience. And on check out mentioned them and they said they knew about the issues.
