I like the fact that the hotel manager did make an allowance for me to pay for my room with cash and even waived a one night incidentals fee. Cudos to Ms. Cynthia Bailey great customer service at the front desk! The next morning when I asked her what happened to my cookies the night before when I checked in, she said, "I don't know. I wasn't here last night but here are TWO cookies just for that".
When I checked in, I was told that the hotel did not accept cash! How is that???!!! I held the room with a card but did not want to use that card to pay for the room. This was such an inconvience! And what happened to the warm cookies at check-in that DOUBLETREEs worldwide are known for??!! This is the hotel's calling card!My room was decent. But the amenties in the room were poor. The microwave was loud and noisy, sounding like it was about to blow up! The keurig coffee maker was broken, couldn't life the top up to put in water and couldn't push the handle down to brew anything anyway! The cabinet that housed the microwave and the refrigerator, it's door barely closed. I am glad that I really only had to sleep in that room because most of my time was outside of it in conferences during the day.

I travel a lot!!. Never have I been welcomed like i was at the front desk by Cynthia the supervisor! Her professionalism, knowledge and friendliness were amazing and comical! She is definitely on her A game here and shows great leadership.
