Aesthetically pleasing
AC UNIT wasn’t working
The ambience was nice. Everything looked up to date.
We saw 3 gnats as we walked into the room. The shower water was also cold. I also paid for breakfast in my reservation but when I get to and eat breakfast, I still had to pay 75 dollars for breakfast which was nasty.
My husband and I drove in from Knoxville, Tennessee for a birthday weekend getaway, and without question, this was one of the most memorable birthday experiences I have ever had. The reason is simple. The people.
From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Our valet, Enoch, unloaded our entire car, brought everything up to the room, hung our jackets in the closet, placed our belongings neatly in the bedroom, and was incredibly accommodating. It set the tone immediately.
Regina at the front office was warm, polished, and genuinely welcoming. Colin, the hotel manager, went above and beyond. He sent a beautiful bottle of champagne and a charcuterie board to our room for my birthday, bought me a celebratory drink on our first night, and followed up afterward with a thoughtful email to ensure everything was superb. That level of leadership is rare.
At the spa, Dervin graciously worked me in last minute for a 50 minute massage with Tomiko, and it was phenomenal. Tomiko is incredibly talented. Dervin also followed up to make sure the experience exceeded expectations, and it absolutely did.
And Dee at the bar made one of the most impressive martinis I have ever had.
The room was spotless. The energy throughout the property was polished yet warm. What stood out most was the consistency. Every single person delivered excellence.
Because of this experience, we have already decided to return once a quarter. I have shared our stay on Instagram and Facebook and will continue recommending this hotel to friends.

It’s a very nice hotel and the front desk employee are wonderful and love how they greet each guest. The only thing I did not like was when I ordered room service and when the food came to my door, it was double the price because they were not transparent about the gratuity and delivery fee to your room on the website. When I spoke about it, they said that the restaurant would contact me and no one ever did I felt blindsided, but overall, it was a nice hotel.
Stephen greeted me at the desk and was incredibly kind and made an effort to connect with me. He made me feel welcome and started my stay in the best way.
This stay was a birthday gift for my best friend and we were both greatly impressed by how smooth everything went. Checking in took little to no time and the atmosphere in the lobby was wondering as was the staff who assisted me. The greeting on the TV screen is priceless! The bar staff was exceptional. We had a blast and booked a stay for my birthday!!!
Such a BEAUTIFUL hotel, every detail from the lobby to the room, the elevators, the art. Checking in was even fun, Stephen has such a fun personality and was so patient with us when we were checking in, as someone who works in healthcare as a first point of contact, it sets the tone of the stay when the first person you speak to are in great spirits (give that guy a raise! lol) the valet staff was also very kind & answered all of our questions!
A Corey was exceptionally and attentive to my husband and I. He provided support and attention to what we needed and was authentically respectful, and kind. Hes clearly a great team player because we observed how he interacted with the other team members. Thank you Corey for making our stay so great!
The hospitality, service, and making me feel at home at The Starling was top tier. From the moment I checked in, Regina at the front desk gave me recommendations for nearby amazing restaurants that I could enjoy my time after work when I arrived back at my stay. The staff, service, and amazing room is what made The Starling my Atlanta stay anytime I’m here for work or vacation in the near future. If I could give an 11/10 I would. Thank you for making my business trip more enjoyable than I expected.
Excellent experience – beautiful hotel. The staff was wonderful, especially Harold and Orlando in engineering. I had a small problem with my television and they came within minutes to fix it. They were very helpful and polite.
