If you want to be sure that you have a room DO NOT not book here.! I have traveled around the world but never again I had a worse and unreliable service. They canceled our stay just before we go there while everything else is now very expensive! If you want to have a well preorganized trip DO NOT book this hotel. They said it is about renovating but of course you know months before if you are going to renovate the hotel. Probably they are gambling to take better rates.
Quiet, peaceful, lush
Not a thing!
Very poor kitchen equipment
This resort is wonderful for family. The villa is spacious, and the area is quiet and peaceful.
All the staff are absolutely wonderful, in particular Visual, Nak in restaurant, even the driver Nat...cant name them all. The team goes extra mile for everything trying to make us having a nice stay. Thank you all.
We would be back and give all our recommendation for this wonderful hotel.
The place is nice and beautiful but this is not a hotel.. see this more like a guesthouse with various villas in a park. Few people working there, you are pretty much on your own, very limited service. No butler as they say just a WhatsApp which is not very efficient in the end. Buggies never there so you have to walk a lot. And the place is 10 min far from city center
It’s a nice place but really not a hotel and even less a 4 star hotel. People there are really trying their best to make you feel comfortable, but you feel like management is just here to get the money. Restaurant is so so so pricey it’s indecent. More pricey than raffles lol for tiny food and poor service.
This place has so much potential it actually hurts to see it kind of abandoned by a clear greedy management. You want to offer a simpler experience to your guests ? Ok fine/fair/interesting but please don’t price it like a 4 star hotel…
Ok location and large property.
We were perhaps unlucky but during our stay the restaurant was closed, the bar inly served soft drinks, nearby temple blasting loud music every day from 5am to 8pm. The entire place is short of staff with only 1-2 poor guys trying their best to help us. Facilities were poorly maintained and not very clean. Low water pressure and the it smelled like rust
Beautiful property - we were upgraded from a two bedroom to a four bedroom/three bathroom villa so we had plenty of room to spread out (great when travelling with teenagers!). The beds were comfortable and each bedroom had air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The staff were very attentive and polite and kept our rooms tidy. As the buildings are so spread out we communicated with the hotel manager using WhatsApp. The staff always responded quickly to our queries. The hotel is a 5 minute tuk tuk ride to town ($2 one way). We enjoyed swimming in the main pool each day.
Unfortunately the hotel is somewhat understaffed at the moment and this is especially noticeable with the food service. We had breakfast each day - the food was good quality but often cold (as though it had been pre-prepared). One morning we asked for an early breakfast because we had a tour booked and our breakfast did not arrive in time as the kitchen was busy. We also had lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant (on one occasion each) but found that it was expensive and the food in the restaurants in town was better quality for the same price.
Comfortable and quiet, very attentive and respectful staff, spacious accommodation.
Somewhat understaffed which impacted quality of food (breakfast was cold on more than one occasion)
I would love to say that I enjoyed our experience here, but sadly we did not. On the positive note the staff were all verypleasant . I booked this very expensive place to stay because I was taking my kids out of the country for the holidays and it said it came with a "Butler and chef". When we arrived, it looked like we were the only people in the entire complex. We never saw another family for breakfast and turns out breakfast was the only meal served and if you ordered pancakes, they made you one and split it into four pieces which was clearly not enough for my three teenage boys). There were no other meals and no food available other than for Christmas dinner which was an extra $1000 if you can believe it! None of the things shown in the photo actually existed like horses or archery. The bikes were all very rundown as a matter of fact, the whole place was very rundown. Mildew on all of the cushions. Broken chairs at the pool, broken trampoline, no towels available, no service...Just in the state of disrepair. It would've been fine if it was advertised as a two or even three star and with them saying in advance there was no additional food available there because it was way out of town and there was nothing within walking distance, but my goodness, to pay so much money to spend Christmas somewhere and to be so disappointed was absolutely terrible. They felt bad and apologized, but charged us the same exorbitant rate nonetheless. As I said, they were very pleasant, but this is not at all what we paid for. Beware, it does not look like the photos and there was definitely not a butler or a chef in in sight and when I inquired about it they said we needed to ask about the chef in advance, but there was nothing about that on their website or in our correspondence. I've traveled to over 80 countries and always leave positive reviews but this was just over and above false advertising Nearly $2500 for three nights. Wow!! Stay at Raffles!
Staff was very friendly. Enjoyed the special new year’s celebration.
Really appreciate being in a quiet and green area but still a very short ride away from the city and main attractions.
I am not sure if this is because the hotel was short staff at the time of our stay but the quality of the food was mediocre and expensive for local standards.
Our villa was downgraded on arrival. They said it was an upgrade from 3 to 4 bedrooms (we only needed 3) but villa itself was nothing compared to the one we had booked with no outdoor eating area and inside was very run down. We were told our original was being refurbished, but it was clear another family was staying in it. If your booking says private butler and cook, don't believe it. There was one member of staff frantically looking after 12 villas. They have a major staffing issue. There was no cook on the first day on the whole property, so no lunch or dinner was possible on site. On another day, we asked for a coffee but were told there were no staff available who knew how to operate the coffee machine. Onside restaurant, when a chef was available, was more than twice as expensive as upper end restaurants in town (simple lime juice 5USD!) Asked for breakfast at 7.15 to join guide at 8am but it eventually arrived at 7.50. No fruit bowl as was indicated at booking. I could go on. Beware huge hotel being built on the same estate which will be dusty and noisy. Sadly, I can't recommend, as the surroundings are gorgeous and it has so much potential with a lovely pool area
Beautiful quiet estate, blissful pool area, close to town centre ($2 tuk tuk journey). Staff tried hard to please.

We had a very spacious villa, the whole domain breathes quietness, and is surrounded by lush green gardens and parks. It gives an extreme relax feeling.
The swimming pool is splendid, and was not crowded (most of the time we went swimming, we were alone).
The personnel were always trying to help out where needed and very friendly.
Good location to explore the tempels (some 15 km further).
Different parts of the description were not correct.
When we arrived hungry, we learned that the restaurant no longer exists. The city center is too far for going by foot (the staff supported always supported by arranging a tuk-tuk, or calling someone to rent out good bikes at a cheap price).
There is a fully equipped kitchen, however no pots & pans, cutlery, plates or anything else.
Although the swimming pool was great, the terrace and chairs were not really clean.
Staff was extremely nice and helpful, and the park is amazing, super quite and green yet close to the city and the temples.
The property grounds were beautiful and relatively well-maintained. The upgrade to the lakeside villa with pool was worth it. It had the potential of what could have been a great place to stay!
Like many of the recent reviews, we also did not have a good experience with Mane. There were many things advertised that were not available during our stay: no restaurant that serves lunch and dinner, no kayaking, archery, etc. The staff are nice but they seemed to be overwhelmed, understaffed, and inexperienced. What made our stay really bad was that during the 5 days we were there, there was a very loud chanting / singing (on loud speakers) that started from 5 to 6 am and ended at 9 to 10 pm every day. While we understand that Mane could not do anything about this since the loud music was originating from a property beside it, it does ruin the experience of travelers who came expecting a relaxing atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city center.
The property grounds were beautiful and well-maintained. The upgrade to the lakeside villa with pool was definitely worth it. This had a potential of a great vacation.
Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience with Mane. There were amenities advertised that were not available. For example, their restaurant no longer serve lunch or dinner. The time to inform me was when they sent me their lunch and dinner menu when I requested for it prior to our arrival, not when I was about to order room service.
The staff are nice and they try but they were overwhelmed, understaffed, and inexperienced.
What made our stay really bad was the loud singing and chanting that started at 5 AM in the morning until 9 PM in the evening during our 5-day stay. We were expecting a relaxing vacation. Unfortunately, this was not what we experienced.
I also found management to be extremely unprofessional. I informed our booking platform of the issues we encountered including amenities advertised that were no longer available. Instead of reacting professionally, I received messages from the staff saying that they were shocked of my complaints even though I informed them of these issues while we were there. What made it worse was that the staff told me that their management was asking the staff to pay for our stay and that the staff had families who depend on them, etc. (I did not request for a refund nor did the resort offered any.)
