This is a lovely hotel in a great location! Really close to downtown Baltimore and easily accessible using the free charm city circulator bus! The neighborhood is a quaint nice place right opposite the first Washington Monument, which is an easy walk! The Art Museum is also about 5 mins away and the first Basilica in the US is close too! It’s a great location!
The room we had was very large and spacious with great amenities and the decor was nice! The hotel is very aesthetically pleasing with lovely accents and decors throughout! We had an amazing view and it was just an all round great hotel room!
Overall a lovely hotel with a great location! The staff were friendly enough! The rooftop restaurant Topside had good food and amazing views!
the towels in the room were unacceptable! They were threadbare with holes (see photos), I can’t believe a hotel charging as much as they are had towels this old and worn out! Come on Revival team, do better!! To have finished towels like that being placed in paying customers rooms should be embarrassing for you, not something you do with no shame!
Also the wooden bed corners are very sharp, if walking to the bathroom in the dark be careful otherwise you’ll knock your foot (see photos).
Staff was great - went out of their way to help me with some unique travel needs and ensuring my billing was correct. View from the room was beautiful, water pressure in the shower was great and bed was comfy.
The towels in the room were covered in someone else's hair and the floor did not look like it had been vacuumed. :( Staff helped me get new towels but it made for an unpleasant start to the night.
Only 1 ply toilet paper. Water pressure in sink in room 1003 is poor and difficult to regulate temperature. Otherwise a fabulous weekend at a wonderful and very comfortable hotel! I would definitely stay at the Revival again!
A great hotel with a classical building and a young, motivated team. Everything you need in one place. Highly recommended.
we like the room and all the facilities and the staffs of hotel are all so nice and always have smiles and so helpful for us!
Gorgeous boutique hotel located in a great area to walk around. The ambiance was fantastic. Comfortable rooms, beautiful decor, large bathrooms. I loved the rooftop restaurant's vibe, really wonderful views too. I wouldn't order dinner in the restaurant again though, the quality and variety was lacking and it was pricey too. Better to stick with the drinks and truffle fries, they were awesome!
I loved the spacious room and well stocked snack and drink options in the room, including the free water.
The decor was beautiful. The bathroom had a gorgeous vintage look. I had a great view of the lit up monument at night.
The coffee shop was serving a delicious orange chocolate chai.
I only ate at the hotel rooftop restaurant the last 48 hours of my stay. I was mostly pleased with the food on offer. Unfortunatley, the night before my flight home I contracted food poisoning after dinner. I told the staff the following morning and the front desk staff gave a simple “feel better.” I would have hoped they had asked if they could bring me anything (an extra duvet would have been nice but at least I could turn up the thermostat to 90 when I was sick and chilled) or refund the meal that caused the food poisoning. The also had medicine at the front desk but no Imodium or pepto bismol or anything. That would help. I wanted to speak to someone at the hotel and gave them that opportunity (specifically asked them to reach out) before leaving this review but no one reached out. I wanted them to at least reassure me whether the kitchen staff were notified of the situation and made changes for other guests. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen so here is the review.
Nice eclectic hotel in a great area.
The topside restaurant was beautiful but the service was very slow.
Bside didn't even open the door to let us in or tell us they were busy.
Netflix did not work in the room. Phone in the room to call the desk was broken
We rented two rooms for my daughter's wedding weekend. I have stayed here several times over the past 5 years. The setting is so beautiful. There really is no better view of Baltimore than a monument view room at Revival except maybe the view from Topside. The staff is always very kind and accommodating. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back soon!
Natashia is just phenomenal!! She was patient with all the changes and she exceeded expectations. Her diligence and dedication to making our event a success was outstanding! I will always remember her attention to detail and her commitment towards our team members. Natashia is a superstar indeed!
