THE hôtel a Mechelen
Pros:

Très bel hôtel entièrement remis à neuf, à la fois élégant et chaleureux. La décoration est soignée et les espaces sont parfaitement aménagés.
Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et varié. Le restaurant est excellent, avec des plats savoureux et un service impeccable.
Les chambres sont spacieuses, avec de hauts plafonds et un aménagement confortable et fonctionnel.
Une très belle adresse, offrant un excellent rapport qualité-prix.

Cons:

Il manque une piscine ;-)
Beaucoup de travaux aux alentours donc parking pas évident mais c’est temporaire(Mars 2026)

This stay was spoiled due to price of taxi fare to airport 285 euros which I didn’t book felt this extremely expense rip tourist off
But hotel apartment from one night the bar was closed 8pm

De ligging: gemakkelijk te bereiken met het openbaar vervoer.
Rustig om te slapen.

Cons:

De verwarming in de badkamer ging niet aan om te douchen. Niet gemakkelijk om aan te doen en geen gebruiksaanwijzing beschikbaar.

The location was perfect for our trip and the restaurant and bar facilities were fantastic.

Cons:

We did not find out until too late that the hotel no longer had a car parking facility as the whole area was being re-developed and the car park no longer existed on site which was now part of a large building programme, a multi storey car park is nearby for which we had to pay extra.
On-site parking is one of my selection criteria.
