Beautiful property and good food.
Direkt am Yachthafen gelegene, ruhige Hotelanlage. Der Pool war aussergewoehnlich, ich bin mit einer Uebernachtung zweimal schwimmen gegagen. Das Restaurat war excellent, top Essen, tolle Atmosphaere. Das Zimmer war sehr gross.
Das restaurat war etwas teuer (hatte keine Verpfleghung im Preis mitgebucht).

Lo mejor que tiene el hotel son zonas comunes están muy bien y la piscina es espectacular, aunque se echan en falta sombrillas.
Lo más decepcionante fue la nula asistencia por parte del personal. Antes de mi llegada intenté ponerme en contacto en múltiples ocasiones (unas diez veces) por correo y a través de Booking para solicitar información sobre cómo llegar en lancha colectiva, sus horarios y precios. De todos esos mensajes solo obtuve una respuesta, que consistía en un PDF ofreciendo un servicio privado de 500 dólares. A pesar de insistir varias veces más y de intentar llamar por teléfono, nunca recibí contestación.
Dos días antes de llegar a Guatemala volví a contactar por correo y Booking para organizar un transporte desde el embarcadero de Río Dulce hasta el hotel, pero nuevamente no tuve respuesta. Finalmente fue gracias a la amabilidad del capitán de la lancha colectiva que conseguimos llegar al embarcadero del hotel. Considero que en un país como Guatemala es fundamental que los hoteles brinden este tipo de apoyo a los turistas.
Al llegar al hotel (sobre las 11:00) nos informaron de que no había habitaciones disponibles hasta las 15:00. Entiendo que esa sea la norma, pero lo habitual en muchos hoteles, cuando no están completos, es entregar la habitación antes. El hotel estaba prácticamente vacío, y aun así no hicieron ninguna excepción.
Las habitaciones son como casitas individuales, lo cual resulta agradable, pero en recepción no acompañan a los huéspedes, por lo que tuvimos que cargar nosotros mismos con las maletas, perdernos, volver a recepción a pedir ayuda y, aun así, nadie nos acompañó. Un servicio muy deficiente.
Además, las habitaciones no están tan cuidadas como en las fotos: los baños son antiguos y había insectos.
Solo mantuve la reserva porque el hotel, a primera vista, parecía atractivo. Sin embargo, la falta de atención del personal y el estado de las habitaciones hicieron que la experiencia fuera muy decepcionante.

Absolutely beautiful property. Huge pool looking into the marina. Another pool (semi-Olympic) in the back of the property. Very spacious rooms and well-kept terrain. Comfortable shower/bathroom with quality amenities that were refilled each day, including water bottles.
Quite some miscommunications with the Cayena Restaurante staff (located on the property), even while speaking in Spanish. Example: asked for a salad without bread, because my girlfriend can't eat gluten. Waiter confirmed it would be gluten-free, without bread. Got a salad with 5 slices of bread laid out on top of it.
The front office staff is amazing. Odalys was an amazing help to us and was caring and patient.
My one and only complaint is that the beds are just too hard.
