BeachWalk at Sea Bright

There were other guests walking up and down the halls at 2:00am in the morning yelling and screaming, knocking on doors and then blasting music for at least an hour. I texted two different numbers, the hotel gave me if I needed something or had any problems and never received a response. Besides the rude and inconsiderate guests, the walls were made of tissue I guess, because you could hear everything. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The tissue box in the room was basically empty. I paid over $300 dollars to get a horrible night's sleep due to rude guests, no customer service and poor quality bedding.

This is a message I left the hotel staff this message and received to reply:

I just wanted to give you a little bit of feedback about our stay: we were told there was a coffee maker in our room, there was not. Also, the restaurant was not open for breakfast this morning as was stated. The deck this morning was very dirty with the trash, empty beer cans, etc. Last night. The poolside bathrooms were in need of a lot of cleaning. On a positive note, the location is perfect and all of the outdoor amenities (the pool, the dock/deck) were really great.

Pool was not clean, pictures online advertised a newer much updated version than what the property actually was.

I did not like that the bottom of the tub had grout splashes. There was a lifted board by the bed that I kept hitting with my flip flop that I was glad I had on to not hurt my foot/toes. I would have liked there to be a small desk in the room. Due to doing some work while I was away.

Felt overpriced. Room appears renovated. Pool seems dated/not taken care of.

Our room had one lamp and was extremely dark, the room had no hangers for the closet and the front desk was not able to provide us with any, I would have thought management would have gone to a store and bought some. The TV was some sort of smart TV that required a Roku account which we didn’t have, we were told we could sign up for an account for no charge but we were not able to and once again no one was able to guide us so we were not able to watch TV for 4 nights.

Feces smeared on toilets by the pool. Wet floors. Vomit in the pool. There’s no one cleaning by the pool as far as I could tell and my son kept picking out garbage cups and straws. Bring your own..The towels had a bad smell. The room was clean but the TV remote didn’t work, the thermostat could not be put on the temp I wanted. There was literally a wet mop and bucket outside my door for 2 days. When I go on vacation I don’t want to spend my time complaining. I just won’t stay here again. That being said there was nothing that was going to stop me from enjoying the peace on the beach. But that has nothing to do with this hotel. Not worth the price I paid.

This place has so much potential but it falls short. Stayed here twice and both times had problem with the room and had to change. That elevator in the lobby is the slowest ever, there’s only one for every one to use, and it really needs to be looked at for all the creaking it does. The hallways smell so strongly of air freshener. The pool needs to be drained and repainted. It is beautiful but looks old and dirty.
