All round very good for the price. Friendly staff generally too.
Pros:

We love the location and although the interior is older than most we do feel it is good value for money.

Cons:

We like the new refurbished bar and we think the breakfast is very good.

Other than the reception and restaurant staff, it was an average stay.
Pros:

The staff was very friendly and breakfast was good.

Cons:

The hotel is pretty dated and run down. The mattress was terrible. The bathroom needed a complete overhaul. The walls were paper thin and I heard EVERYTHING above me, beside me and below me. The concierge staff did not help with luggage and only greeted guests if they weren’t chatting with their coworkers. You would think with several of them they would have been a little more helpful in assisting older clientele.

It worked because we really only used the hotel for sleeping

the room was very small..The bathroom facilities were below my expectation. Though generally clean, the facilities are very tired and worn and the shower was very poor
