Camera spaziosa e confortevole. Pulizia. Personale alla reception molto gentile e disponibile. Non parla inglese ma con il traduttore siamo riusciti a comunicare.

Pros:

Stuff was friendly. Spacious room, new furnishings. Well working air cons. In fact I had two of them.

Cons:

Room was not well cleaned there was a bunch of hair left on the shower shelf and a spit out piece of fruit lying on the side table leg. It was gross.
Breakfast options were largely limited to vegetables dishes. Watermelon was off and there was a fly feeding on the pastry. I did not see any non dairy milks. There were no western food. Even though I was staying on a non smoking floor, floor corridor stank like cigarettes and body sweat. This smell is everywhere in Xinjiang. Men smoke everywhere. My sofa had a hole from a cigarette. Room window was behind the concrete facade grid and the back of that greed has stickers with manufacturer name. That was quite annoying.

Above and beyond helpfulness from staff.
Pros:

Excellent, helpful staff. Little English but we all had translators. Breakfast was varied Chinese dishes and very nice. Lots of restaurants nearby. Very comfortable bed. Grape juice on tap in the lobby. Staff also arranged taxis for us and made sure the drivers knew where to go.

Cons:

Air conditioning didn't work properly and one of the tvs didn't work but they gave us another room after I mentioned it. So that's really a positive.

Exceptional
Pros:

The hotel is nice, tidy and well positioned. The staff is kind and also got me in touch with Tahir, a local guide that speaks excellent English (a rarity), is very knowledgeable about the region and definitely made the stay memorable
