Only complaint I have about the breakfast service. It was very slow. I think you need more staff for the morning.
Great lobby and pool area. Good size rooms. Quiet given its location.
No drinks or food service by pool. TV didn't connect to phone or apps(or work at all). No minibar. Shower took several minutes to warm up.
Ideal location to explore the city.
No complaints!
Breakfast was very good, very clean hotel.
Staff was very
Their elevator is at an end of a hallway and it’s a very long walk to your room. We had a disabled sister and it was too long to walk.
There was literally no hot water. We were told to turn on the shower and run the sink for 15 minutes and we would have hot water. We ran both for over 45 minutes and we barely got tepid water.
The staff told us that is just how it is. After speaking with Alex, the front desk manager....who tried to help, we decided to switch hotels.
Stayed one night out of our 5 night stay. Alex was the only good spot. The rest if the staff was rude and condescending.

Great staff and friendly - beautiful lobby
Put us in a handicap room without telling us. The shower was broken and too late at night to switch rooms. Don’t like handicap rooms - told front desk and all they said was sorry. Toilet was awful!
Lage
Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit
The guest room that we stayed at was very small compared to how it was depicted on your website. The room had very outdated decor; and generally overall looked pretty beat up, from peeling wall paper, to electrical sockets that did not hold our cell phone charger (socket was too big???); the iron /iron board were super old (also the electrical socket could not hold the iron plug, it would keep coming out and the wooden blinds did not work, did not close all the way and the light from the pool came right through the window. I'm extremely sensitive to light and as a result had a difficult time sleeping well! There were no curtains or shades to pull down to block the light. The ways are extremely thin--we could hear people outside. Overall very below standards for the price I paid. And, to top it off, the staff was very unprofessional/ rude/ valet parking is so costly and they take forever to bring you keys. Very disappointed in this property. Will not be returning to this property. The only thing good about this hotel was Roy (?) the concierge who helped us--thank you Roy for being a true professional.
The location is right off of Bourbon street so you have east access to all the night life but the square is also a few steps the other direction. A 10 minute walk gets you to most places in the area with ease. There’s easy access to the on and off bus route as well, so if you want to venture out it’s also an easy walk to get to.
The location is perfect located between Royal and Bourbon Streets, half a block from Jackson Square. This hotel was a welcome relief from all the shopping and visiting we did in the French Quarters. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony facing St. Ann Street watching people, although the noise was a bit distracting, we still slept well. The staff was always so nice and helpful. Overall, it was a great little trip.
We had our wedding this past weekend and chose the Bourbon Orleans Hotel as our main hotel—and it exceeded every expectation.
Every aspect of the experience was truly phenomenal. The guest rooms were absolutely exquisite, and all of our guests had an incredible time. From the moment everyone arrived, the atmosphere, service, and attention to detail made the entire weekend feel so special.
We hosted both our Welcome Reception and Good-Bye Brunch at the hotel, and both events were nothing short of amazing. The food, setup, and overall execution were seamless, and our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed both events.
What truly made the weekend unforgettable, though, was the staff. The level of care, professionalism, and genuine kindness we experienced was nothing short of perfect. We felt so supported every step of the way.
We especially want to recognize a few standout team members who went above and beyond (in addition to the fantastic sales and catering team):
Phil – Banquet Captain
Mel – Manager of Food & Beverage
Arnold – Banquet Server
Natalie – Banquet Server
Demetrius – Banquet Server
Dylan – Banquet Bartender
Dareione – Security
Mr. Terry – Security
David – Bellman
Jaquan & Tangela – Front Desk
Each of these individuals made a lasting impression and contributed to such a flawless and memorable weekend.
We are so grateful to the entire team at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel for helping bring our wedding weekend to life. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional service and a truly special place to celebrate.
Location and decor. It was lovely, perfect distance from bourbon. Walking distance to most things.
The distance from the elevator to our room was far. Also, our view was horrendous.
De locatie is super, zwembad mooi en fijn.
De douche werd maar niet warm, 3 dagen lang was de douche situatie niet relaxed. We moesten van de receptie telkens 20 min lang het water aanzetten en dan werd de douche enigszins warm. Erg onhandig.
