Fabulous staff and location. Excellent value for the money.
Pros:

The location couldn’t be better. All the staff was so courteous and kind to our large group with several children. The room was very clean and comfortable. Free coffee in the morning was a huge bonus.

Cons:

The restroom in the lobby could use some TLC. A few of the doors on our floor appeared to have a small gap in the top that could put off some guests.

Pros:

Posizione ottima, pulizia giornaliera, cambio asciugamani e acqua minerale tutti i giorni. Camere tipiche newyorkesi con moquette. Armadio minuscolo ma per il resto lo consiglio.

Pleasant, clean, good sized room
Pros:

Room was nice, a good size, comfortable. Free coffee in lobby in the morning. Didn’t use the gym, but the lobby was pleasant to meet people. The elevators were a bit slow (during busy times like checkout.). I would stay again.

Excellent stay
Pros:

The location was excellent, with several metro stations just a short walk away (around 5 minutes), which made getting around the city very convenient.

The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. We are especially grateful to Jalal, who helped us after we were unfortunately scammed by a taxi. He was very supportive and later even drove us to the airport. On top of that, he has great music taste, which made the ride even more enjoyable.

Our room was spacious and comfortable, with two windows, a closet, and a private bathroom — something quite special to have in the city center.

The housekeeping was also excellent: our room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels provided, and the bed was always nicely made, even when we had already done it ourselves.

Great central Manhattan hotel close to all hotspots, Broadway and transport links.
Pros:

A very positive 4 night experience here. Good value in central manhattan location, close enough to the centre but not too close for noise.. Welcoming reception staff. Simple check in. Good size room and facilities. Spotlessly clean and room refreshed daily.
Easy access to all Manhattan hotspots, on top of Broadway, numerous restaurants, diners, coffee shops, subway within easy walking distance. Highly recommend as a NY base. Nice touch of coffee available in foyer and complimentary wine hour. No on site restaurant but no worries - surrounded by them! / even a comprehensive deli next door.

My NYC Home Away From Home
Pros:

I have stayed at the Ameritania multiple times, and I will continue to stay there for my future trips to NYC. The prices are competitive, the facilities are clean and in good repair, the location is excellent for Broadway and all mid-town attractions, the is subway immediately across the street and connects to the E Express to La Guardia, and the staff is polite and proficient. I specifically want to commend Jeff the doorman as our world needs more people with his quiet kindness.
