No refrigerator in the room, no access to ice. The coffee and hot water for tea provided in the mornings were lukewarm. No food service whatsoever.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Ameritania Hotel in NYC in June. We were treated very specially by Sergy, Shay and Janet. Wonderful people! Our room was spacious with a good view and very clean. The location was perfect! It was close to the theatre district, good restaurants and Central Park. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Keenan was so helpful during our check-in! We were upgraded to a deluxe king when we originally booked a queen. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the black-out curtains were a great touch, letting us sleep as long as we wished despite the bright lights of Times Square. The TV was slightly hard to navigate and our room was directly by the elevator, which we could sometimes hear, but it wasn't too noisy. Check-out went smoothly, and we really appreciated when the doorman was able to keep our bags safe while we roamed the city until we had to leave for our flight. We wished we could've been around for wine hour, but it just didn't work with our schedule. Thanks for an overall nice stay!

Arrived late and they agreed to changed our room the following day.
Extremely poor value, will not return or recommend. Booked months in advance for $2,500 for five nights. Then upon arrival, see price is lowered to $985. I understand the concept of dynamic pricing, but this one feels like a slap in the face. No breakfast and no gym, rooms are old and worn out, lobby bar area not particularly nice either, so felt more like a motel
A proper central New York hotel with charm and in a great location.
The air in was a little noisy - but it kept the room so cool in a bout of very hot NY weather.

PERFECT location for the Rocky Horror Show at Studio 54! Which was fantastic BTW. Beautiful lobby and fantastic staff. Sergiy has a great sense of fun and humor. Hugo and others so helpful and polite with doors and getting us a taxi to Penn Station. Room was comfortable, bathroom updated. Highly recommend.

The hotel's location is perfect for us. The staff is always very friendly.
The room we had this time was a little run down at the edges. For some reason, we were put in an ADA room, and the shower (with no defined boundaries to accommodate a wheelchair) got the whole room soaked - and made it slippery. Not great. Finally, the price was a lot higher than when we stayed here in January (it's tourist season now!). While this hotel seemed like a phenomenal deal at the January price, it's only so-so at the much higher price point. For this money, I will look elsewhere next time.

Jeff at the front door was AWESOME. can’t say enough great things about him and his service to my family and I. Other than that, our room had a nail sticking out the floor in front of the shower and a lot of flies in the bathroom.
Had a great stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, with easy access to Broadway theaters, restaurants, and subway lines.
A special thank you to Majid at reception, who kindly accommodated my early check-in request and upgraded me to a higher-floor room, which made my stay even more comfortable.
Overall, the hotel offers great value for its location and service. I would happily stay here again.
