Very accommodating, friendly and helpful staff, easy check-in and check out. I purchased the Stay and Park option and that was an incredibly smooth process. Minimalist, comfortable rooms and excellent location! Would definitely stay here again.
Hotel is great experience! Just arrived and Keenan at the front was easy and kind to work with. We got in a little early from travel and he accommodated our needs to get our gal weekend started. Location is clutch and convenient to a lot of our outings planned. Room is nice and clean , with modern flair and current trends. Value is great too for not needing to spend ample time within the room but still cozy enough to do so with weather forecast. Looking forward to checking out the other amenities within the hotel too!
I had higher expectations based on reviews I had read before booking, but I guess you get what you pay for. The price of the room was very affordable. Location was slightly out of Times Square, but not too far of a walk. The room was clean, but very small, even for NYC standards. It seemed outdated, although the bathroom was a bit more updated. Street noise was a problem throughout the night. Overall, it was a decent stay for one night, but would not stay again.
Samira & Anya are the bartenders at Ameritania. They are knowledgeable about wines and spirits. Samira and Anya both have great senses of humor and great laughs. I will definitely visit this bar again! I will call first to see if Samira and Anya are bartending. I live in the city and love to find new and safe spaces to drink.
The Ameritania Hotel is in a perfect location as it's only a short walk to Central Park or down to Broadway . It's clean , quiet and great staff. Jeff ( doorman ) and Sergi
( reception ) were both so helpful and we enjoyed chatting to them and sharing our backgrounds . Jeff originally from the London area and Sergi from the Ukraine . I would also like to thank Majid ( reception ) who helped us to try and contact and confirm one of our planned excursions .
I was part of a group that stayed at the Ameritania Hotel. It was a wonderful stay. The room was clean and the people were incredibly helpful. Mohamed was a great help every time we arrived with the door and getting the elevator. Always with a smile- which was great for southern visiting NYC. We had the best time
Room was a bit shabby…bathroom door handle falling off, wouldn’t secure closed. Bed not very comfortable. Not terrible but the place needs some attention
Anya at the Ameritania is an absolute gem behind the bar. From the moment I sat down, she made me feel welcomed, seen, and taken care of. Her energy is warm and inviting, but she pairs that with true professionalism and skill.
Every drink she crafted was perfectly balanced and beautifully presented — you can tell she knows her craft. She’s attentive without hovering, personable without missing a beat, and keeps the atmosphere lively and elevated all at once.
If you’re visiting Ameritania, do yourself a favor and sit at Anya’s bar. She doesn’t just make drinks — she creates an experience. Highly recommend!
It was a good value for the 5 days we spent in NYC. The location is great. Atmosphere very good and safe. The room was small for a DeLuxe room, but clean and comfortable. Noise level was excellent, both inside the room as well as in the hallways and in the lobby. The cleaning women did a great and quick job; I requested a wake up call on Monday, Feb. 9, at 6:45 am. from the main desk, but no one called, and I missed my appointment, which was the main reason for my trip. I later checked and they had me down for the call, but there was no call. This was a set back for me; everything else worked well for my wife and I.
Location is perfect
Carpet looks like could be updated and also the bathroom but it looked clean
Everyone was friendly, room was clean, it was close to everything in the city.
No complaints
Great location, friendly staff, easy walk to Broadway theaters. Good value and very flexible about storing luggage for us when we checked out on Sunday.
Construction noise from the street was really bad on Friday night. Saturday was better but there still seemed to be work going on at 2 a.m. Bed was really uncomfortable, felt like sleeping on a straw mattress.
The hotel staff was excellent. I wish I could remember the name of the woman who checked me in she was incredibly polite and welcoming. The customer service was outstanding from the front desk to the bartenders. Everyone was friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I had no complaints during my stay. Keep up the great work!
Great location
The initial room was very small, but I was moved to heating malfunction to a nice larger room.
Staff was very kind and helpful.
Hotel generally very dated and in need some investment, room heaters looked to be 30 - 40 years old, very noisy and difficult to regulate.
Shower fixings were leaking. Ironing board broken, couldn't be used. Desk chair was broken. These are small things but if you are there for 8 days like I was for business, these things are annoying.
Location
broken elevator to gym
La ubicación del hotel fue excelente a 5 minutos te Times Square, la calefaccion excelente a pensar del inviero tan fuerte y la limpieza excelente del lugar.
