Great overnight in lovely hotel.
Pros:

Location was fabulous for walking to the pier for Alcatraz. The rooms were spacious and bed so comfortable! The staff especially the young man who helped with luggage was fabulous and gave us some great tips on things to do in the area!

Cons:

Pricey but in line with local rates!

Will not stay again due to cost and difficulty with handicap and kids
Cons:

Restaurant. 24 hour coffee. Having to walk 3 blocks with walker to get under as could not pick up but could deliver. We were going to stay again after cruise for 2 more but decided to book elsewhere but the people except in some cases were very nice.

The situation with the toy left a bad impression throughout the entire stay—the feeling that they were trying to rip us
Pros:

Location and overall room condition

Cons:

When we entered the room, we found a toy crab. Our child was delighted with the gift, but then we read that we had to pay at reception to keep it. What kind of cruel game is this to play with children—pay up or face disappointment? Save these kinds of things for adults; adults can make informed decisions, but playing with children's feelings is really unpleasant.

Cozy hotel with a lovely staff
Pros:

Great hotel in a perfect location, safe and peaceful neighborhood with no homeless and a great staff. Shoutout to Louis who welcomed us and offered us a bottle of Chardonnay as a gift to celebrate the beginning of our honeymoon.
The main feature was the hall with the coziest fireplace where to warm up from San Francisco’s June Gloom. We loved the s’mores and the courtyard fireplace where to cuddle up in the blankets provided by the hotel.

Very useful water refill dispenser on the first floor and ice machine on the second one.

We booked a King Deluxe room, which size was fine. Our room was not facing the street or the courtyard and thus was very quiet, although doors and walls are not super-isolated, but we had a great sleep despite lots of comments. Just try and ask a quiet room, and the great staff will help you as possible.
We are very picky about bed comfort, but we really loved our mattress, and even pillows were pretty comfortable.
Bathroom was okay, with good toiletries and a great hairdryer. You don’t have a real shower though a bathtub whose pressure was okay. We found a few hair from previous guests but, other than that, cleanliness was good.
The bathroom vent never stops and you can’t control it, which can be annoying during the night, but closing the door allows you to get a great sleep.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose Hotel Zoe again if we ever come back to San Francisco!

Cons:

The hotel lacks a complimentary breakfast but should seriously take this into consideration, with the Pescatore restaurant next to it and providing also breakfast. This was probably the main letdown of our stay but the hotel is in a well-placed area to overcome this problem.

Great hotel
Pros:

Fantastic location. Very clean and modern. Comfortable beds. Our child loved Zoe Crab the plushie toy and we bought one. It's nice to have a dining table and a sofa, with a partial/limited view of the pier.

Excelente custo benefício
Pros:

Localização;
Funcionários muito simpático e cordeais
Quarto amplo e limpo

Cons:

A cama era um pouco mole, mas isso é uma dica para quem gosta de cama mais firme;
Estacionamento caro. Paramos no que tem ao lado do hotel e pagamos 30 dólares por dia.

Great hotel, walking distance to the wharf, restaurants, and other places.
Pros:

Location, close to the wharf. Staff was friendly. Outdoor patio. The valet guy was friendly & really worked hard to help everyone.

Cons:

Price for parking, $65 per night & $8 bottle of water. It’s kind of expected, but would’ve liked it to be lower.
