Disappointing on nearly all levels.
Pros:

The comfort of the bed was great.

Cons:

Dark room with very little natural light. No mobile phone reception in the room. Room was only cleaned once during three night stay. Being told not to sit at an empty table just in case a larger group came in to a rather empty bar. Extremely high car parking fee.

Hotel Zoey of the Highest Quality!!
Pros:

We stayed at the Hotel Zoey and had a wonderful experience. From the rooms to the front desk they could not have been more helpful. Emeldy, front desk was extremely helpful with getting us ready for our cruise. I would recommend this hotel extremely high!

Safe Cruise hotel close to attractions/port
Pros:

We looked at several hotels in the area but decided on Hotel Zoe based on reviews, distance to Fisherman’s Wharf and the cruise terminal. The entire staff at Hotel Zoe, from the doorman, to the maintenance staff, to the front desk to house cleaning, were phenomenal, welcoming and always had a smile.

Our room (Junior King) was clean and had great space for our 2 nights. There is a Trader Joe’s right next door for anything you need and a Grocery Outlet across the street opening very soon.

The area was extremely clean, it is obvious the city has made it a focal point to clean it up and get tourism back. Sidewalks were power washed, we saw only one homeless person and buildings had fresh paint. We felt extremely safe walking around during the day.

Although there’s no gym on site, it was only a 5 minute walk (1 block) to their sister hotel.

Joi at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful.

There’s self serve coffee and hot water/tea in the lobby each morning at 6am. There’s a refrigerator in the room and a microwave for guest use in the lobby.

We walked to our cruise, it took about 18 minutes, it felt safe and the sidewalks were smooth.

Pescatore, restaurant attached to the hotel, was amazing. All the food was fresh, none frozen. The service was outstanding, from Ryan the manager to the bartender/server Morgan and our favorite waiter Ricardo. We ate both dinner and breakfast both days because it was so fresh and filling.

We will be staying here again this winter for another cruise.
