La ubicación fue lo único rescatable
No es un 5 estrellas ni un 4 estrellas. Instalaciones viejas y espacios chicos.
The staff was incredibly welcoming throughout the hotel, from the lobby to the breakfast area and bar. The location was perfect. As I am Shomer Shabbat, the staff kindly assisted me during Shabbat with entering and exiting the room and using the elevator without needing to touch electronics. Their kindness and understanding meant a great deal to me. Breakfast was delicious and so dinner at the bar area.
Nothing at all. Everything was wonderful.
I had an overall pleasant stay in New York. The reception staff were always extremely kind, attentive, and very helpful throughout my stay. The room was comfortable, the bed was excellent and very cozy, and the bar staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Excelent location close to 5th street , museums, central park.
However, I believe the breakfast service still needs significant improvement. During busy mornings, the staff often seemed overwhelmed, orders were mixed up or delayed, and the service became confusing. As a solo traveler, this sometimes made me feel uncomfortable, especially when I was told there were no available tables and that I should sit at the counter, while I personally prefer sitting at a table to enjoy breakfast calmly.
On one occasion, my order was forgotten, the coffee became cold while I waited, and the overall experience was disappointing. After that, I felt the service became even less welcoming. If something arrived incorrectly, correcting the order would usually take a long time, which again meant cold coffee and a frustrating breakfast experience.
Another point worth mentioning is that the included breakfast had only three basic options. If guests wanted fruit, sandwiches, or other items, there was an additional charge.
Despite the breakfast issues, I would still highlight the excellent reception team, the comfort of the hotel, and the kindness of the bar staff.

Location, staff, clean, beds, modern updates
A bit small for 3 adults but works for NYC

Posizione perfetta.
Pessima colazione!
The hotel is very clean, so convenient, and super friendly. Carlos helped me to my car and he was awesome. Definitely will come back.
I'm editing my review and raising my rating by one star due to the professional approach of Kelli Phillips, General Manager. She contacted me immediately after the review was published. I'm glad that constructive criticism helps improve a hotel's services. I believe that whatever was bothering us will be (or already is) resolved.
We were at the hotel at the beginning of April. For a 10-day stay, we can give the hotel a reliable rating. Friendly service at the front desk, good housekeeping, and very friendly housekeeping staff who were able to accommodate our presence in the room. Nice, thick bathrobes. A nice gift from the hotel on arrival. Bottled water was readily available at the front desk at any time. The hotel's greatest asset is its location, as it's right in the heart of Manhattan but fortunately not in the heart of Times Square. Our room faced the courtyard, and although it overlooked another wall and windows, it was truly quiet. The hotel has two elevators, and they always worked quickly and efficiently. The Lantern's Keep bar is surprisingly nicely designed, with friendly service and good cocktails.
Our room was small, and we knew it. However, the bathroom door was poorly placed. It had to be kept closed at all times to function. The rest of the room was okay, although the furniture is old and worn. For such a long stay, we decided that the lack of daylight was another drawback. A dark room is fine for two or three days.
We had a mandatory breakfast, which we were dissatisfied with and only ate a few times. This was the main reason for our dissatisfaction and the lower rating for the hotel. We learned from the manager mentioned earlier that during our stay, the hotel was undergoing a major change in its breakfast offerings, and we were caught in a transitional period that wasn't easy for either the guests or the hotel itself.
I understand the situation; it can happen anywhere. Management recognized the problem and promised to improve.
Chambre trop petite pour une famille, pas la place de poser les valises ouvertes. Formule petit déjeuner pas clair du tout et les prix change en fonction de l'heure ou de la tete du client!
