The Iroquois Times Square, a Small Luxury Hotel

My daughter and I had a quick one night trip in NYC and stayed at the Iroquois for the first time. Paulisha, at the front desk, took great care of us. She was friendly, helpful, and interested in what we were doing and how our stay at the hotel was going. Put a smile on our faces every time we saw her. We ended up being upgraded to a suite and it was quite luxurious to have that much space in a hotel in manhattan. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. All in all, would stay here again and hope that Paulisha was working when I did.

Our experience at The Iroquois was very dissapointing from the very beginning when we arrived at 3.30 AM exausted after a 24 hour trip (our flight had been diverted due to bad weather in NYC) and greeted rudly by a gentleman named Josh who said our reservation had been cancelled due to no show. The reservation was already fully paid. After this hassle which already made up us upset, he „managed“ to rebook our room. Breakfast is not included on the price as they erroneously mention since you receive a 10 dolar voucher per person! Who is going to eat in NYC for 10 dolars? The rooms are small, but cozy. At checkout when we looked at the minibar extras we had a charge of 200 dolars when nothing had been consumed by us (they charge you for just opening the fridge, so pay attention!) One last comment: We were charged twice on one of the days for city tax, etc… So I suggest you check your bill in detail. All in all, location is great, personell in general a bit rude and not worth the daily rate of almost 500 dolars for which we paid.

Although I haven’t stayed at the Iroquois Hotel yet, I had such an exceptional experience with their staff that I wanted to leave a review.

I called to arrange a special surprise for my best friends during their weekend stay, and Paulisha was absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to help make their arrival feel extra special. Her warmth and genuine care were evident from the moment she answered the phone.

Exceptional customer service is hard to find, and Paulisha made such a lasting impression that I’ve already decided the next time I visit New York City, I’ll be staying at the Iroquois Hotel. Thank you, Paulisha, for your outstanding hospitality!

I had such an amazing experience at this gem of a hotel.

It was exceptionally clean, the room design and layout were amazing and the bed and pillows were pure luxury.

The location is absolutely perfect. Close to Times Square and Grand Central Station but tucked away on a quiet street.

What really stood out was how welcoming the staff was. Every encounter was perfect. Housekeeping was stellar. Front desk so friendly and I really enjoyed the breakfast.

Staff are so helpful nothing is too much...excellent reception and resturant /bar staff.

Excellent location, walking distance to everything. Couldn't believe how lucky we were with this accomodation. Breakfast options delicious and great value. it was a good way to start the busy days. Facilites comfortable and clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

We absolutely loved our two-night stay at the Iroquois Hotel & have already decided it's our go-to hotel whenever we're in NYC. Every single staff member—from the front desk to housekeeping to the doormen—was genuinely kind & made us feel like they were truly happy we were there. The doormen were such a nice touch, making us feel both welcomed & safe throughout our stay. The room was immaculate, & so were the hallways & dining areas. Honestly, the cleanliness was exceptional. The beds & luxurious bedding rivaled those of much more expensive luxury hotels, & they were incredibly comfortable—perfect for our sore backs. Even though we were just 2 blocks from Times Square between 5th and 6th Aves., our 7th-floor room was unbelievably quiet. We slept better than we do at home & never would have guessed all the NYC excitement was just an 8-minute walk away. The dining was another highlight. The speakeasy served delicious casual fare & even let us pre-order dinner so we could enjoy a relaxed meal before making our 7 p.m. show. Breakfast was table service at a private, white linen-covered table w/4 breakfast choices that were more than enough to start our day. I was celebrating a birthday, & the thoughtful surprise of a small bottle of wine & snacks waiting in our room made the trip even more special. Exceptional service, outstanding comfort, impeccable cleanliness, fantastic dining, & an unbeatable location—this hotel exceeded every expectation. We can't wait to return.

This was a family trip where I booked 3 rooms but also needed to be in meetings and do calls. The check in process was poorly executed and as 3pm passed and I still didn't have some of our rooms - I had to beg the front desk team to move things along as I had a 3:30pm call. On a positive note the hotel is well located and the cleaning staff does a great job. However the water pressure is poor and as this is not an inexpensive hotel -- the amenities are lacking.

Excellent stay! This hotel was comfortable and suited all my needs. The room service I ordered for dinner was probably the best room service I’ve ever had and huge portions. The breakfast was also very good and had a lot of options. Coffee was available in the lobby in the mornings and they had a mint water in the afternoon. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I really felt right at home.
